I can't find out how to get further in. I've gone to the training grounds and done that thing but when I want to do something different it's the same level? Maybe I'm just lost xD

Once you beat the training

Once you beat the training grounds and cross the chasm, you'll have to beat a small dungeon to get to Haven..

From Haven, you'll be able to go to the Arcade and choose from multiple gates with different themes in the Clockworks. It's advised not to go too far down alone unless you're sure you have proper equipment to survive alone. There's a small notification for that by your map, it usually is green meaning it's safe. If it turns red or purple, you're probably down too far.

Thanks for in the

Thanks for in the information!

Then I suppose 'soloing' is not such a good idea until you have better armor and weapons? Looks like I got some grinding to do for crowns.

Do you happen to know where I can find someone selling some beginner armor and weapons?

The only difference between

The only difference between soloing and running with a group is that with a group the monsters have more HP. Personally, I'd suggest running solo for a while, just to learn how to kill stuff without anyone helping. Tier 1 isn't really all that tough, once you learn the monsters' attack patterns and figure out how to deal with them.

As for where to buy some gear, there's an Auction House in the Town Square submap of Haven - a lot of players "ragecraft" (produce large quantities) of decent 2 star gear, and then wind up selling most of it at a loss, so there's plenty of 2 star gear available at reasonable prices. Don't waste money on 1 star gear - it's simply not better enough than your starter gear to make it worth the effort.

Or save up your crowns, buy recipes, and start making your own gear. At some point in the game, you'll *have* to do this (higher level gear can't be sold - you have to make it for yourself). It's up to you if you want to start out as a do-it-yourselfer, or just buy gear until you reach the must-do-it-yourself level.
