been playing this game for like 35months and i never ever know what is going on and what is the game all about
so if anyone would be kind enough to type or give me a link for the story that would be pretty much helpful to
fill up my lazy brain

If you want stuff on the swarm, then run some Shadow Lairs for the Echo Stones. More specifically, the Red Roarmulus Twin and the Darkfire Vanaduke Echo Stones are most relevant to the swarm and how they fit together with the Clockworks as a whole.
Admittedly they're a bit cryptic, but that's pretty much the extent of what we know about the Swarm.
There's a lot of additional lore especially in the lab [also changes as you progress through the missions].
Why do you say "race called the "Morai""? I thought this is... planet... maybe the universe or something.
Both the Iron and Gold wolf/dragon sets speak about taking out "high priority Morai targets". Either the Morai are a race of creatures, or an organization. Either way, we were at war with them.
We came from Isora, but are now living on Cradle until we figure out how to get off it.
So should you graveyard this thread or do you need more information?

TL;DR version
BACKSTORY - we were at war with a race called the "Morai" on our home planet of Isora. We were losing, and fled in a scout ship to find a power source to turn the tide of war. Turns out the power source we were tracking was Cradle's core, and we were shot down (originally we crashed, but in the new character creation sequence lasers happen). All the spiral knights abandon ship in escape pods and land on cradle.
TUTORIAL - We meet up with a scarlet scout named Rhendon. We do some stuff and run across a schemer called "Razwog" who is playing with an artifact. We steal the artifact, give it back, then steal it back again. We then cross over to Haven.
TIER 1 - We're learning stuff, and do a few cool things, like fight a snarbolax and learn about battle sprites - little battle robots that can evolve.
TIER 2 - We start having problems with gremlins and their "crimson order". We venture into the royal jelly palace, and soon after learn gremlins are trying to destroy Haven! Somewhere around now a gremlin named Herex steals back the artifact after assaulting the lab.
TIER 3 - We venture towards the core and learn we need to fight through Firestorm Citadel. We do so, and come out on top, and everyone in the Spiral Order pats themselves on the back for you doing your job. Soon after, the new Vanguard missions happen. Not going to try to spoil too much there, plus you can be not lazy enough to read stuff in those levels.
