The first thing newbie hear about when they play a match of Lockdown is rants about AT and accusations of AT directed at themselves. It really isn't helping anybody. Couldn't inspect show whether you use AT or not. Couldn't AT/Auto-Target/Auto-Aim be censored as if a swear word. There's a lot of what ifs I'm tired of getting accused of it myself and apparently the only way out is to record lol

i don't think i've ever heard a legit complaint about a new player in LD using AT, because they are new and obviously they don't have sufficient practice in LD to be able to aim and focus on switching and dodging etc. plus, who dies to a new cobalt AT combo spammer? that would be your own fault
people complain when AT is being abused by players with plenty of experience and good gear. if that's you, then you probably think damage makes you good and that's funny.

Krakob, I was simply pointing out that he was using this thread as a cheap plug in of saying "I'm tired of being accused of AT". If you can't prove your usage of AT, then just shut up. Don't mask "I dont use AT" in a complaint post. Maybe you should flip it around. Maybe the people who make up accussations should get some proof. I mean, if you're so confident in your everyone can record argument, you can record yourself and just take a look and see if it's AT or not, provided you know what signifies AT. If you'd properly study it a bit, it really shouldn't be that hard. I've never been one to enjoy this kind of stuff because anything relating to hunting AT players will achieve nothing but more toxicity in the community but I'm seriously considering following up my earlier studies and making a video showing how to distinguish AT from non-AT players without having them record just to put people who are still being elitist sillypies in their rightful place.

to be fair burden of proof can go either way in this case, he's asserting that he is not using AT and you are asserting that he is using AT; krakob's suggestion would fall within the bounds of that in terms of you proving that he does use AT. it's pretty clear that someone here is contesting AT as a norm so you can't really assume that one is true while the other is not if there's nothing actually being presented here for either side

Every sensible player tells new pvpers to turn AT off as well for them as for the community. As a matter of fact how can new players learn to aim if they are not even aware of this existence of their being helped by the computer?
For me if we sadly still have t3 players who play with auto aim, it's because the lack of t2 lockdown where they should have had time to learn to aim by theirselves. When there was t2, it was because of the lack of t1.

I think heart trinkets scare new potential pvpers away. Nothing kills fun like being two hit by a more experienced or equipped player, and having to grind up trinkets while being pub stomped to have a chance to survive a few extra hits and learn.

Lol what, if anything asi scares new players away, because that's somthing that is very costly and scares people away.
Just keep recording software on standby at all times, when someone accuses you, record and make a bet (5k CE or whatever) and upload it. Easy money.
