My spiral knights is the non-steam client, because I don't use steam as regularly as others.
Was wondering if anyone would be interested in having voice calls while they are playing in game.
I could see myself making a group call and/or private calls (if it's only two interested callers on)
I'm good with either.
As for the group chat, I will establish user kicks if anyone does consistently disturb the communications between other players.

write your Skype username in the request
I don't think a public Skype group is a good idea. There's too much personal information involved and people can't really use it properly for private conversations with more than one person, which is a serious problem if this would grow in size.. Try Spiral-Spy's Mumble server instead or set up your own RaidCall group, perhaps.
