Hi there!
I want to introduce u to the next idea which me and my good friends have.
We all now that sleep is not used almost at all in SK. The sleep status is used only in vials, and how does the wiki says, the sleep protection is useless, so we can consider sleep as an "forgotten" status on SK

But, there was never a weapon who had sleep. Why? We don't know. But we would love one, why only one? MORE. But for now lets start with 1

We want to present u the following idea. The Dreaming Pillow! The first weapon in SK which gives sleep effect to enemies. The idea could be the new beggining for sleep, also making people wanting to consider making some sleep resistant armor, like jelly set (or make a brand new pajamas set, but that an idea for another day)

We are working on this for a while now and we have a few thinks, like all the pillows from 3* to 5*

3*Fluffy pillow: Nice and fluffy is a perfect warmed weapon... or maybe just a good pillow for a fight with friends.
4*Sleepy pillow: Using only the best feathers in a nice sewed material.Perfect for a pillow fighting against Vanaduke.
5*Dreaming pillow: This powerful weapon is guaranteed to defeat enemy (in your dream).Powerful and soft,it makes you get a nap faster.

We even made some recipes:

Recipe for Fluffy pillow

-Blue shard 10
-Owlite Feather 3
-Ecto Drop 2
-Fine Fabric 1
-Advanced orb of alcemy 3

Recipe for Sleepy pillow

-Blue shard 10
-Owlite feather 4
-Fine Fabric 3
-Ghost Bell 1
-Mug of Mistery 1
-Elite orb of alchemy 3
-Fluffy pillow (heat lvl +5)

pillow

Recipe for Dreaming pillow

-Blue shard 20
-Owlite feather5
-Force Dynamo 4
-Fine Fabric 3
-Mug of Misery 1
-Storm Chaser 1
-Eternal orb of alchemy 3
-Sleepy pillow (heat lvl 10)

Hope u like it, every support means a lot.

And for any of the creators/GM's of the game who see this. We want to speak with a GM ASAP pls.

Thanks and have a nice day

We are still working on the pillow "image" to say it like that

About the sleep:

We all know 1 think, sleep is kinda OP how is it right now, but think a bit, if we could change the "status" wich sleep gives?
The actual sleep is like a frezze, but it wont stop if u hit the target and its slowly healed.

We need to change that, cause causing the target to have continuous sleep makes it defenseless.
Me and my friend were thinking at it to lower the defense, atack, and movement, depending on how great the effect is on the target, like

(normal) sleep=10%
fair sleep=20%
slightly sleep=33%
great sleep=50%

Like that, it wont and toooooo OP, and with some only short efect time, it would be perfect, also, waiting for other sugestions

LETS GET THE SLEEP BACK! :D

algorithms are the solutions to any problem.

sleep isn't in the game because it's broken. it's a stronger version of freeze that heals the target, and can be used to kill enemies with ease or exploited to get more health. also, don't forget PvP. the animation for sleep as of now is broken, as seen in the sloom comeback a year and a half ago (it's already a year and a half, dam.)

if you want to speak with a GM, make a support ticket.

Can be fixed

Its true that sleep is broken, but it is in the game, and it needs to be used in a way or another, and the vials are NOT the way to go. They puted sleep in the game, we have to use it, and about PVP, it can be restricted, easy peasy, actualy, if u think, there could be made another minigame using the pillows

And more than that, we don't have to do it that OP, i mean, what about sleep for 1-2 sec for each time the status is given, just so it can stop an attack?

What about that? :D

Or even better, change the function of the sleep. What or how, its possible, BTW thanks for the comment, made us think for a bit, gotta find a solution :)

Sleep needs a redo

The entirety of the sleep status has to be redone before we can introduce weapons that inflict it. Sleep cannot be easily abused to heal like some do say (taking damage to heal back some of the damage you took...? Yeah, healing back 2 out of 8 pips of health you just lost is so overpowered!), however it is pretty much identical to freeze. The idea of "drowsiness" has been one that's been jumping around. Fehzor is of the component that sleep would be a progressional infliction of sleep (i.e., you are drowsy, and if hit by sleep again you get more drowsy until falling asleep), whereas I myself am more of a different idea.

In my own opinion, sleep should immobilize the target for X amount of seconds, and they heal back health after 4 seconds of being immobile. Sleep status itself would be attuned to stun, such that it lasts shorter than most other statuses. If you take over 33% of your health in one hit while asleep, you will instantly be woken up with no penalties. However, if you wake up naturally, you will be "drowsy" for 3-9 seconds (depending on resistance to the status) in which you move and attack slower, but after waking you cannot be put back to sleep for 10 seconds.

Bottom line is that sleep needs to be balanced correctly, and right now it is not. I'd love to see sleep introduced into this game (tranquilizer guns, mist bomb, poison-tipped blade, etc), but first it needs to be a status that works on everything effectively.

Would they bring back slooms? ;O

Like the subject says. No idea why, but I wouldn't mind them back.

Yea, why not

Well, if we will have sleep for attack, why wouldn't they put and monsters to give sleep too? Cause like that, we would need sleep defense much more

Yes yes yes yes thank you. I really want a sleeping weapon brought into the game, and I really REALLY want sleeping monsters brought back. Without it, armors and trinkets that give sleep resistance seem silly. please do this SK

Gezzums...

You might want to tone down on the necromancy of threads here. Not really adding too much to the old discussions by saying "yes i agree".

sleepp....zZZZZZZZZ..

For sleep, i feel once the target is inflicted with sleep, they should do some kind of sleep walking where the target is no longer in control of themselves if a player and act like an npc. While sleep walking, the target will attack at random directions as if fighting an invisible target and will only wake up after receiving a certain amount of damage. The target will not heal if they are poison like it is already set up, but the target will have a movement speed decrease, but the targets attack will be more powerful while sleep walking.

I was also thinking that this idea could be fused with the drownsiness idea that fangel mention where the target will only start to sleepwalk after falling alsleep and going through the drownsiness period. We can also put in a 70% chance sleep walk and a 30% chance that trhe target will not sleepwalk and will just stay still like sleep is here now. But if the target does not sleepwalk, they will get a much greater boost in defense and will heal their health much faster.

This si my take on sleep where sleep is not a simple freeze mechanic, but a more of a chaotic status mechanic where the target goes crazy in the head or high on weed lol.

@1462

Necroposting, or "necroing", is commenting on an old thread unnecessarily by not adding anything new to the discussion or providing any reason why you bumped a topic to the top of the forums.

I have to agree with Fangel here. As it stands, Sleep is basically a more annoying version of Freeze, and for it to be reimplemented into the Clockworks or put on a weapon, it needs to be redone.

I remember a long time ago, I made a thread discussing possibilities for Sleep, Curse and Stun to enter the Clockworks as level themes, which happened to be a redo of another thread I made about the same topic that ended in disaster... unfortunately, both times, no one really seemed eager to come up with ways to alter the statuses so they could work in levels, so we couldn't get many solutions to fixing them. Still, I'm interested in discussing ways to make them work better.

Edit: Oh geez, I didn't notice the three month post gap until after I finished typing this. Sorry!

jelly & pajama should be weak to sleep because they are soft, harder case armors like seraphic, chroma, cobalt, etc, become sleep resistant
also
suit lined with spikes inside

It's true

If they actually put back Starlight Cradle in the arcade I would love it, Slooms along with Stronger Jelly Cubes can frustrate us and that fight can be a problem, so being hit during healing wakes up automatically.

These stuff cheers us up as we think it's soo wonderful to have sleep back in the game.

One thing to mention Monsters being inflicted with Sleep is a bug as it is not shown, they could have animations to it.
