Crafting annoyances

Hey, wouldn't it be nice if you didn't have to, when crafting an item, have the item that was a tier below it? Like, suppose you're making a tempered caliber, or whatever the three star caliber is. Wouldn't it be nice if you didn't have to have the caliber to make that? So you could, y'know, save time? Instead of having one more roadblock? That'd be great.

What annoys ya'll? Lemme know.

Imagine that the swords in SK

Imagine that the swords in SK are living beings.

You can't just create a living being with X appearance, Y abilities, etc. They have to evolve from much simpler beings into more advanced ones.
Same principle with weapons and armour. They gain heat (experience) over time and evolve when forged into better versions.

The only gripe I have with crafting is that instead of being limited to one type of crystal, a person could use all kinds of crystals to forge albeit with a much higher number of crystals used. After all, it's heat in a crystallized forme.

E.g: You could level up a 5* sword to level 10 with 100+ rads or 600 shinings for example.

Besides that, I'm quite happy with the system given that there are now free elevators.

Actually I really like having the upgrade to craft system in place. It means that there is a lower leveled version of each gear piece, and that you get to use it and grow with it until it matures.

What "annoys" me is radiant fire crystals being made into a wall of sorts blocking and hindering the crafting system, which is where I predict this thread will derail to. But before it does derail to that, the other big annoyances are the forced gambling aspect of the forge in general, the tangled web of failed crafting objects (like forge sparks, materials, shinning fire crystals), and the presence of items like mixmaster/celestial sabre that are unique, interesting and unattainable to everyone that isn't a merchant. These are things that I would predict to be actively bad for the game, and could be fixed fairly easily.

I actually find it productive. After all, you are gaining crowns for your hard and tedious labor. To me, it's like playing the game without trading, selling, or the auction house.

[Crafting] Annoyances

Hey, wouldn't it be nice if you could skip 3/4 of the work & expenses and get results near-instantly? That would be great! You know what else would be great? Free orbs! You could really, y'know, save time! You know what would be even better? If this was in the suggestions sub-forum! That'd be great.

One of these days my sarcasm is going to really piss someone off.

If you did that then what is the point of playing the game?

algorithms are the solutions to any problem.

you can buy the items from the depot. it's instant and it's tecnically cheaper than heating.
