why is the drop rate for extra shells so low even on t3 elite? I'd say the average over my at least 20 runs is around 3. And given the spark cost i might as well run t1 normal.

there is no way to run t1 normal. Players need to be at least Rank 4-1. Am i wrong?

From what I can tell, you need to be a Tier 2 knight to fight Tortos.

Okay there isn't a t1 torto, but my point still stands that for t3 the shell drop rate is still too low relative to the change in difficulty.
Tier 3 its just if you want a challenge, and yes you can get even 2 shells if you are so unlucky on elite T3, so the best way to farm shells it just to have an alt at rank 4. so you can have tortodrone mission on depth 9 wich its a lot easier and impossible to die and easy to farm the shells, just invite your party with the alt then make them invite yourself and you are set to farm shells.
