Trying to download today's patch, it keeps going to roughly 80 to 90 minutes to download, but it gives up and tries again from 0% after a few minutes and it again goes up to 80 to 90 minutes.

I tried uninstalling and reinstalling but the same problem occurs during instalation, it will say resolving downloads while still in the middle of the download and start again from 0%.

The game finally installed but when i log in it has to load "the rest of the game" and it's over 124 minutes using the same downloader that has been giving me problems since this new patch.

The downloader keeps giving up on the download and starting over, any way to stop that? I want to be able to continue playing, I'm enjoying the game and was playing just fine before this latest patch

Have you tried the Technical

Have you tried the Technical Support sticky?
http://forums.spiralknights.com/en/node/48

You should go through it and try those suggestions to eliminate common problems, then provide us with more information about your computer and your problem. I would first off suggest that you powercycle your router and modem. That might help, but we need to know more about your setup.

How do I check which version of Java do i have?

I've tried downloading with my own internet a Cricket wireless broadband modem, a public library's wifi, and a friend's internet. On my own internet the downloader estimates the time to download to over 360 minutes and typically tries to resolve downloads well before it's finished. When this happens it starts back over at 0%. The library's and my friend's internet loads it faster but the downloader will freeze up before finishing negating the progress since the downloader doesn't have any resume support.

Okay, it sounds like this is

Okay, it sounds like this is a computer-side issue; you might have a firewall or some such program interfering with your download.

Have you followed the instructions in the sticky regarding firewalls?

I don't think it was any

I don't think it was any computer issue, I think the issue is a downloader that is prone to malfunction the longer it takes to download. Wifi at my laundromat was surprisingly fast, i couldn't believe that it dowloaded the game in under 2 minutes

That sounds like your home

That sounds like your home connection was unstable.
Usually, the downloader chugs along quite well unless the connection drops off entirely.

Good to know you got back in anyway.
