I've read the something about having a txt. file in your spiral knights folder with the

-Dorg.lwjgl.opengl.Window.undecorated=true

But it seems that in doing this, it doesn't really change having it full screen for me. By this I mean that the only thing it did was unbind my cursor, since when I click out of SK it stutters the video on both my monitors like I was alt-tabbing from full screen.
Anyone know of a fix or something that might help? I'm running java 64 with an AMD processor that's been updated with it's newest drivers.

I have the same problem too sometimes, but I don't see the actual problem with it. If the window isn't active, you can't play the game anyway so getting 30 fps instead of 60 isn't really a problem.

I think it defaults to 15

I think it defaults to 15 frames when it isn't the main window selected, but what I mean is that I have black frames coming up on both monitors. The kind of flicker you'd get if you'd ult tab from full screen games. It's like quickly turning on & off your monitor I guess? I haven't encountered this with any other game, so I'm curious to see if anyone has a solution. Note the in normal window mode, if I click out it will not stutter the screens, but when in full screen, if I alt tab, it will stutter both of my screens.

Oh, now that's a problem I don't have.

Monitor fighting should be banned.

Let the monitors work together instead of fighting. Try a dual monitor setup. I have nothing to add that will help your problem, though. :P

I couldn't ever get SK to run smoothly with dual monitors, but I was using a much older system. I am curious to see if there is a resolution. I might go back to dual monitors again SK offers any support.
