Once a character is deleted, it is completely removed from the Spiral Knights servers, or so I believe.
In the future, send a "Support Ticket" in for help. Click on the "Support" link on the upper right-hand side of this site.

Also, I find it rather odd you could accidentally delete your knight when it requires you to type your knight's name in to delete it... But hey, what happened happened.
