Isora Knight: Cryotech Alchemer Mk5 OVC modified, Cobalt AllocateAlloy armor and XCalibur.

Location: Matiktron (Central Fortress), Isora (Knight Reserves), Cradle (Overclock Industries OVC)

Platoon members: Energyload, Noalmorgame

Personality: Crazy, courageous, powerful, helpful and happy

Story: Matikclocker wasn't really Matikclocker. He was formely known as Matik. When the Big Pancake Wars in Matiktron ended, then he was caught by one alien being. Then he was sent to Isora and he was changed into a robot. He was then named Matikclocker. Matikclocker worked in Isoran Reserve Team. During Morai Wars he was heavily damaged. Afted wars, he woke up in some spaceship. It was the Skylark and he was regenerating. After the cure he was operating the Skylark's main and additional weapons. Then after Skylark crashed, he landed far away from the rest. When he found Haven, then he established his base, known as OVC Overclock Industries. Now Matikclocker seeks for the Core to become very OP (Overpowered) and power himself the Skylark and rescue Isora.

Description: Short, shy, and timid. He is a biotech and a bomber, an odd mix.

Equipment:
Helm- Bombastic Demo Helm (Accessories- Com Unit, and Binocular Visor)
Armor- Bombastic Demo Suit (Accessories- Bomb Bandolier containing the following- *Nitronome(It sticks to enemies), Graviton Vortex Bomb, and the *Irontech Destroyer(Time bomb, used for demolition)
Shields- *Grand Tortoise/Grand Tortofist (The shield is combined with the gun)
Swords- *Tempered Calibur/Master Blaster(The sword can transform into the bung, and the gun can turn into the sword), Furious Flamberge
Guns- *Riftlocker (The bayonet is removable and can be replaced with a grenade launcher, a laser pointer thingie, an explosive (Used for suicide missions), and an EMP )
Bombs- In addition to the bombs above- *Dark Retribution (Has a couple more dark orbs orbiting the bomb, therefore on explosion there are more of those thingies), Voltaic Tempest, *Heavy Deconstructor (Basically a land mine)

Bio: He's one of the few Vanguards who survived the initial crash of the Skylark. Archimedes was mind tackled to the ground all enemies he faced. He thought ahead, and since he completed his assignments so quickly, he had spare time. Archimedes decided to set his mind to work determining everything about the new battle sprite's capabilities. He also enjoyed the research of the different organisms of Cradle. That is pretty much it, because laziness.

Misc./Special Abilities: Incredibly smart, can take apart any bomb and put it back together. If I put a * in front of it, it means that Archimedes has modified it. I will go over details in combat. A while back he bribed an official to allow him to have 6 weapons on him at all times excluding the bombs on his bandolier.

Did I keep anything in here from the other RP this was in?
EDIT: I detailed his modified weaponry. I also added one modification to the mix because you said OP things are sort of ok.

NPC ideas

Architect Praetorian: Elite soldiers of the Architects who built Cradle, Praetorians roam the lower levels of the Clockworks attacking Swarm infestations wherever they can be found. They wield photonic manipulation weapons designed to combat the Swarm.
Praetorians resemble Spiral Knights, however parts of their armor are translucent and glow faintly. (Think Equinox costumes.) From reports given by knights, Spiral biotechs have deduced Architects may be energy-based lifeforms.
-Cyan and white color scheme. (Polar opposite of the black and magenta colors of the Swarm)
-Neutral to all NPCs and Knights.
-Hostile to Swarm units.

Basically, Steampunk Forerunner Vorlons.

@Quintinius-Vergnix: I'll most definitely have you character say that. I'm still pondering accepting the praetorians, and had a possible redesign idea for the Recyclers: They'd still keep all of their functions and look, except for that they'd fold their equipment out of the main chassis, to allow for use of their equipment on every part of the automaton besides the bottom.
@Everyone: I may not be able to hit the due date, I've encountered a writer's block.

After that he realized just how smart he was and started enrolling in advanced classes and found he was great at technology then he spent all his time studying and training to be high ranking soldier in the ranks of the order. He got that wish.

Oops...

I have a bad memory I always seem to forget these things. I'll fill in the blanks.

Gender: Male

Equipment: Full Skolver set, Shortened combuster I'd say the actual size of a combuster is 4.5 feet so if we compare it to that then the combuster is about 3.6 feet. A celestial blade (look it up) is about 4.7 feet so that is about 3.8 feet long when modified. A megawatt pulsar.

Finally! Someone who understand those poor swords! here is an enemy based on them!

Name: Mechergeon (Uhh.. no. I did not just combine two words together cause i am playing pokemon black and white right now)

Appearence : Like a Mecha knight, however they don't carry a sheild, instead being able to have retractable sword on their off-hand (Assasin creed hint-hint). Carries a gremlin wand on the back, health capsules, some healing runes, and a backup gun (Varies between status effect). They carry a large rapier-like sword, which can also act as a syringe. Inside the sword are fluid of stun and sleep vial combined, almost able to make a coma on full injection. colored with white and red scheme on the normal variant.

Bio: A medical robot created by gremlins. Capable of feild healing, reviving K.Oed teamates, and perform light surgeries. Developed to whistand any feild to operate, they varies in resistance to status, with a gun matching the ressisted status.

The leader of the malevolent self-replicating nanoconstructs known as the Swarm, the Swarm Nexus coordinates each nanoconstruct's actions, allowing the Swarm to think, attack, and plan as a single entity. Little is known about the physical appearance of the Nexus, as it has only appeared as a hologram located deep inside Swarm-infested portions of Cradle. It is very possible the Nexus isn't even located on Cradle at all.

By the way, Swarm Turrets and fully infested Swarm units are able to repair themselves when damaged instantaneously via abosrbing nearby Swarm nanoconstructs from infested areas, or a Swarm source, making them almost invincible. Should Swarm units become separated from a source of additional nanoconstructs, they lose their ability to self-repair.

@Spirals-Ore: Your enemy app sounds interesting, although I have a change in mind for it to more fit the gremlins' sort of work: The Mechergeon (Or Medi-Knight as I like to call it) would have an average Mecha knight's sword in one hand (Or a modified Cautery sword, you never know), gun, etc. And the other arm would have an all-purpose medical cannon in place of the hand and forearm, which acts as a Gremlin mender's wand, with the ability to also cure and inflict status wounds, varying from poison, stun and sleep when it comes to inflicting.

@Sir-Geoffreygg: I believe I said somewhere in the app template that if you have a custom weapon, you must describe it's look and function. (You can provide a picture for it's appearance if necessary)

Chapter 5: Blast from the past

Being in the Garrison sector of haven, the security office was about a half-hour walk from the bazaar sector, and in that time it had began to rain. Making a stealthy approach was difficult, with Critzer jumping in every puddle she laid eyes upon. Upon finally reaching the doorway, Lanius knocked on the door, to provide a distraction while the rest of the squad made their way around to the back of the building. The door opened, in which Lanius blocked a volley of rounds from a Polaris inside. "What's the matter? Afraid of a singular guardian?" He taunted. Before he could lower his shield, A shieldless knight in blackened Recon ranger Guardian armor with an unusual magenta glow charged at him, armed with a magenta Sudaruska. As the two guardians clashed, the rest of the squad was engaged by multiple other Blackened knights, all wearing matching security uniforms. Destin blocked a swing from one of the knight's leviathan blades, and proceeded to disarm the knight and decapitate him. Crizter hopped around 3 knights, Filling them with magma driver rounds before disintegrating the trio with a Combuster charge. She then impaled a fourth knight, who had been blasted her direction by a nitronome blast from Bahman. Lanius regrouped with the squad after dispatching the guardian, ready to down the incoming threat.

"I see you've taken down the Haven security force, well done." The Security chief said, slowly clapping as he left the building.

"Heflon! What's gotten into you?" Destin yelled.

"Do you really think your pitiful group of knights is enough to best the might of the void knight?" Just look at what he did to your last squad, Destin. As a matter of fact, your guardian here gave Abbas a second death."

"AYE! Are ye questionin' our skill? We jis' took down yer entire force, bein' outnumbered 1 t' 10!" Bahman pitched in.

"That knight was Abbas?"

"Did you not know Lord Atropos can revive and assimilate anything he so wishes? He did so with Makoa, and just about every other thing you fought down there."

Just then, two other knights dropped down from the roof, Void versions of Makoa and Torphy.

Before any other words were spilled, Makoa dashed towards Critzer, parrying her sword swing with the blade on her riftlocker. As this was happening, Torphy blasted the rest of the crowd away from eachother with a big angry bomb, charging Bahman with a winmillion. Heflon dropped a black and magenta orb, releasing a swarm source unto the ground. The source summoned Swarm mecha knights, and a large, blocky machine which began firing off mortars at Hauss and Lanius, keeping them well distracted. He then turned his attention to Destin, in which he drew a Dread vile striker and Final flourish, before leaping at Destin. Destin made the first swing, only to be parried by Heflon's final flourish. Heflon attempted a swing to the ribs with his striker, but was blocked by Destin's Grey owlite shield. Torphy and Bahman were at a standstill, chucking bombs at eachother, and dodging the opposing bomber's blasts. Critzer, on the other hand, was having problems keeping an eye on Makoa, as she would keep letting off a volley of blitz needle rounds and then cloaking away. One wrong swing, and Critzer was on the ground, knocked down and frozen by a charge shot from Makoa's winter grave. She tried to get up, only to be shot in the head, shattering the face of her helmet.

"Any last words, little girl?" Makoa said, softly.

Critzer said none, as Makoa's last action had set her off. The ice holding her down began to rapidly melt, as her skolver coat began to turn a fiery orange and red. Her eyes ran wild, before she jumped up and tackled Makoa, tearing the assimilated knight into shreds with her combuster, which had begun to glow red hot as well. Torphy and Bahman paused their lethal game of blast network to watch the brutal seen, in which Bahman took the oppertunity to Plant a couple electron vortexes around Torphy, ripping him in four, before running over to restrain Critzer from causing any more mental scarring. Lanius finished off the last of the Mecha knights by picking up the Recycler and throwing it on top of them, before coming down on it's exposed lower part with his electrified leviathan blade; sitting down afterwards to have his leg repaired by Hauss. "We're gonna need a new alloy for your legs, wouldn't you say?" Hauss chuckled.

Hauss didn't managed to get Lanius' leg repaired, as he was impaled by a final flourish thrown by Heflon, who had Destin at the neck with his dread vile striker.

"You're going to need more than your scrap heap of a robot to take me down." Heflon said, before sinking into the swarm source. He returned moments later, as a Completely black trojan, with various Magenta runes glowing on his armor. Destin had managed to regain his footing again, only to receive a kick to the head by Trojan Heflon, Who then charged at the distracted Bahman and Critzer. His blade began to cloud itself in swarm energy, as he brought it down over the duo's unsuspecting heads. They turned to face the shadow just as the blade was parried by a Sealed sword, with an outline similar to that of a gran faust or divine avenger, only it was constantly changing colors. Destin turned to identify the unknown swordsman, who turned out to be all too familiar.

"You are not losing me another squad, you abomination." Sigurd said.

"Do you really think you can beat me with a sealed sword, old timer?" Heflon replied.

"I don't intend to, only to give an old friend of yours the best shot they'll take in years." Sigurd said, smirking.

Sigurd then relayed over his radio to Hikari, "Take the shot." Hikari, who had still been waiting on the roof, Donned her V-5 Falcon, and pinned Heflon right through the eyes with an armor-piercing round. Everyone in the town square watched as a beam of blue energy whizzed over their heads, sending snipes flying home with their tail feathers in between their legs, and richer knight's hats blown off in the gust it let off, from the bazaar to the garrison. The Trojan fell to his knees, before toppling over and fading away. The swarm source began to clear up as well, leaving nothing but some black marks where it had originally started. Lanius ran over to Hauss, and pulled the final flourish from his abdomen.

"ACK! Leave the surgical removal to someone with a license, will ya?" He said, coughing up blood. Hauss popped a health capsule to stabilize himself, and stumbled off the infirmary to treat his wounds. Sigurd helped Destin up, remarking about he would've came earlier if he knew the Security chief had become this powerful.

"It's nothing. Thanks for dropping in when we needed it." Destin replied.

"Once you're all ready, you'd better get down to the lab again, before Atropos makes anymore units as strong as this." Sigurd said.

"What about my helmet?" Critzer said, holding the fragments in her blood-caked hands.

"I'm sure you can get vise to fix that if you- Do you happen to be named Mai?" Sigurd paused, noticing Critzer's charred face.

"Yea, why?"

"So that's where test subject C-14 went. I'm glad you're with us."

"Were you involved with what they did to me?" She said, glaring.

"No, no. I just got the report on what happened."

"Oh, alright."

"Anyways, you can get your helm fixed by vise if you ask him politely. Might even get punch to give you a free variant on it."

"Okay, thanks coat guy!"

"It's Sigurd."

Destin turned to Sigurd, who was watching Critzer run off to the bazaar, "Is there anything you can do to help in the fight?" He said.

"Well, this time I have permission to intervene, which I will. Alongside that, I have also been given orders to assemble a squad of my own to engage his forces while your team moves in."

"Alright, I guess it's time to prepare."

"I'm sure it is."

About the Swarm : My personal headcanon was that the Swarm (before it became infected with the Void virus and became the malevolent black-magenta squares found in SK) was created as a utility construction/Artificial Intelligence advisory construct by the Architects, however it became infected with sentient malware from another dimension. Supposedly, it was a devil-IT's elaborate practical joke. Anyway, the Swarm succeeded in assimilating large portions of Architect space before the Architects succeeded in stopping its spread via an unknown device(s?), referred to in Architect holo-recorders as the
"Engines of Light". Graphics of the Engines in said holorecorders seem to resemble the Core of Cradle, however this has been dismissed as a minor coincidence, and attributed to similarities in Architect construction.

The Swarm often starts various wars between races via indoctrination, which can alter an individual's memory with extreme precision, then assimilates races after they have been weakened by the war. Presumably, it was the cause of the Isoran-Morai war.

Gremlins were created by the Architects as a means of maintaining their creations, however the Architects as a species seem to be much less common than they were in the past.

While attempting to find a superweapon to eliminate gremlins who opposed his plans (Substance 42 was considered a failure), Herex used information found in Architect holorecorders to open a sealed area of Cradle containing Swarm seeds, resulting in the end scenario room in Spark and Roar.

By the way, when will my character make an appearance?

@Quintinius-Vergnix: I may use that headcannon in the story, I have yet to decide. Your character will probably be recruited by Sigurd right after Dewca's character. (Sorry for holding it off for so long).
@Everyone: To decrease confusion on my part, I'm adding a new part into the character applications, if you're not making an enemy knight: Preferred Squad Role (Basically you pick which part of the team you'd want your knight to be, Guardian, Recon knight, Gunner, Bomber, Tech knight/medic, Striker)

"Mithrod." Warmaster Seerus bellowed, "You have commited high treason against the great colony, and such shall face banishment or death."

"B-but sir!" "Think of the possibilities provided, if we boot up the old nano core system again and make a new knight to harness it, we could-"

"I've heard enough. Take this traitorous mongrel out of here."

"So that's your story, huh? I'm surprised the ol' warmaster didn't just send you across the room with his hammer." The gremlin bartender said, as he was cleaning out some shot glasses.

"Do you happen to know anywhere around here that could use someone with lots of technological know-how?" Mithrod asked, as he downed a shot of spiral whiskey. For alien liquor, it had become a favorite among emberlight gremlins.

"Some knight in a coat and hat's been looking for a tech knight, or whatever they call em. You could probably pass his standards, since you're the reason he's looking for one anyways."

"Eh, probably. Thanks for the info." Mithrod handed the barkeep 10 crowns and walked out.

"Now where could that knight be?"

"Take it you're looking for me?" Sigurd said, raising himself from the wall he was leaning on.

"Depends. Are you the guy looking for a tech knight or just one of the average sods you see making their way into tier 3 of the clockworks?"

"That would be me. You aren't exactly a knight, but what is it you're skilled in?" He said, as he was shifting his pipe.

"Well, I was the former head schemer of the great colony, and such am very skilled with technology, befitting your tech knight role."

"Any way I would know this is true?"

"Well... I created Atropos."

"I thought your voice sounded familiar.Very well, if you're ready to go, we'll be moving back up the haven for the moment to recruit some other members for a squad I'm forming."

"And what is this squad setting out to do?"

"The squad I'm forming is intended to punch a hole through Atropos' stronghold, and allow Alpha team access to the interior facility so that they may engage him in combat. As soon as we've cleared out the exterior, we move in the reinforce them. Does that sound like a problem?"

"Will I be allowed to use experimental technology against our assailants?"

"Sure, I suppose."

"That should get me my job back, so no. There won't be any problem with that."

"Good; pack your gear and meet me on the lift."

ALPHA SQUAD: Destin and Hikari

"So refresh me, what are we going up against?" Hikari asked, as she made her way down from her perch.

"Well, we're fighting this prototype mecha knight the gremlins were making the harness the swarm against us. It sorta went beserk."

"Well, I suppose we can take it, especially with Sigurd forming a second team."

"We can only hope. Let's go find Bahman and Critzer."

BETA SQUAD: Sigurd and Mithrod

"So, who do we need on the team as of right now?" Mithrod said, as they were arriving in haven.

"Well, we still currently need a Guardian, Bomber, Striker, and Gunner.

"Well, I think that cheerful fellow over there might be a good striker, he's even got one of those coats you guys wear that increase the power of your sword swings, Skolver coats or whatever you call em."

"Alright, I guess we'll talk to him."

Refal, the knight in question, was staring at a snipe, who was pecking at some seeds he had laid out for it.

"Excuse me, Refal. We're looking for experienced knights to join us on a very important mission. Me and my associate were wondering if you would join us as a striker."

"Before I answer, might I ask why you know my name?"

"I know just about everyone's names here. It's part of my job."

"Well, what are we doing anyways?" Refal asked.

"You see, in the past, my associate here, Mithrod, had been leading a project know as project Egil: it was intended to create a construct capable of harnessing swarm energy against the spiral order."

"Yeah... it turns out the swarm has a mind of it's own, and converted the construct into a physical manifestation of itself. It converted my assistant into a void gremlin before sending him at me. In other words, it didn't end well."

"Well, if it'll make cradle a safer place, why not?" Refal replied, cheerfully.

"Well, that settles it." Sigurd then relayed to his commanding officers, "I have obtained a Striker, and Tech knight. We should be able to provide support for Alpha squad faster than expected if finding the rest goes as smoothly as the previous."

ALPHA SQUAD: Destin, Hikari, Bahman, Critzer, Hauss & Lanius

"So everyone's ready to go?" Destin asked, after assembling the squad.

Chapter 7 REMAKE: Jabberwocky

ALPHA SQUAD: Destin, Critzer, Bahman, Hikari, Hauss & Lanius

"What do you mean the lift is closed off?" Destin said, impatiently.

"Well, someone or something has apparently sabotaged it from one of the lower levels, and we can't get it to go down more than one level at a time." The Arcade lift manager replied, inspecting the lift.

"I have a tech knight in my squad here. If you let us go down, he can fix it for you."

"I guess that'd work. Go ahead, I guess."

The squad then stepped onto the lift, and the Lift manager lowered them down. "I really should've told them the last squad died because of it..." He thought to himself. After making their way through 5 or so levels, the squad had made their way into the Gloaming Wildwoods. Setting foot on the moonlit soil brought about a group of Alpha wolvers with thick, brown fur on their backs to burrow out of the soil and charge the group. Lanius blocked 2 incoming wolvers with his shield, before cleaving them apart with his blade. Hauss, who had been riding around on Lanius' shoulders, lobbed a vial of fluorosulfuric acid into a crowd that was nipping at Athena, who proceeded to finish them off with a volley a rounds from her raptor. Critzer, whose shield had been knocked out of her hand at the time, allowed a wolver to jump her, in which she blocked it's landing with her arm and impaled it with an underhand stab with her combuster. 2 wolvers facing each other lept at Destin, who ducked and raised his combuster, allowing them to collide with it's blade. The last few Alpha wolvers, realizing that they were at a disadvantage, decided to flee, only to be picked off by mines that Bahman had been setting up during the skirmish.

"Well, that was somethin'." Bahman said, wiping intestines off his coat.

"Something isn't right here with these wolvers, guys." Hauss said, inspecting a fairly intact corpse.

"What seems to be the problem?" Destin asked, as he walked over.

"If you look at the amount of brown fur on their backs, you'd know that these are tier 3 Alpha wolvers. Not the usual tier 1 wolvers you'd find down here; you know what that means, right...?"

"Someone or something is breeding them up here, and judging by their strategy, training them as well."

"That's right. We ought to keep a look out for something with a ton of wolvers at his beck."

"Sounds good."

The team made their way through the forest, cutting down the occasional beast, undead, or lumber that came their way, until they reached a clearing.
Upon entering, the two trees behind them fell over, blocking passage. From the other side of the the clearing came a hoard of wolvers of every type, who proceeded to surround the squad in a circle 5 wolvers thick. Afterwards came a man in a full skolver set with claws that glimmered in the moonlight, accompanied by a snarbolax.

"You dare enter the realm of Silverpaw?"

"Maybe, who're ye?" Bahman said, grimacing at the knight's equipment.

"I'm Silverpaw. I just said so, you drunken wretch."

"AYE! First off, A'm sober at t' moment. Second off, t' only wretch I see around ere' is ye."

Silverpaw growled, and the Wolvers began to move in on the squad. "Not exactly the best diplomat, are we?" Critzer said, giggling. "Never cared fr' that part in t' academy." Bahman replied, arming a graviton vortex. The first wave of wolvers were torn apart by multiple charge attacks, with the second and third waves taking their place. Athena loading a hollow-point clip into her sniper rifle, before penetrating 3 wolvers with a single shot, and then flying off into the brush. Destin kicked a wolver onto another, before stabbing them with his final flourish. Bahman tossed his graviton vortex into a crowd of wolvers in front of Critzer, in which she followed up with a combuster charge attack, disintegrating them. Lanius and Hauss were carving a path through the wolvers to engage Silverpaw in combat, in which he noticed, mounting the snarbolax and charging them. Lanius managed to block the bites from the snarbolax, but Hauss was knocked off his shoulders after receiving a punch from Silverpaw, who dismounted to finish him off. The rest of the squad, now finished with the wolver horde, saw this and rushed in to save him. Silver drew a barbarous thorn blade to parry an incoming blow from Critzer, and blocked a barrage of raptor rounds from Athena with his shield. Hauss, who had begun to get up, was kicked over again by silverpaw's right leg.

"You welps no nothing of power." Silverpaw taunted.

"Power, eh? I'll show ye power!" Bahman yelled, throwing something at Silverpaw.

Silverpaw, with 3 limbs occupied, was unable to dodge or block the incoming nitronome, which resulted in him being blasted into a tree. He began to get up, before hunching over. His coat being to turn an ashen grey, his eyes set aflame, and his claws became real. Silverpaw had transformed into an oversized Alpha ash tail, before leaping and tearing at Destin's shoulder, who had been helping Hauss up for a second time. Destin managed to kick the Ash tail off him, before falling over in pain from the bite. Silverpaw quickly recovered, and dodged another sword swing from Critzer, darting over to Athens and getting a good swipe with his claws at her left thigh, leaving a sizzling claw mark in it's wake. This caused her to lose her balance and fall over, in which he proceeded to begin mauling her. Critzer began running over, before being knocked over by more wolvers that came from the woods.
Bahman threw another bomb, a Black briar barrage with a custom fuse installed, which hit exactly where he had planned, but didn't go off.

"Bloody hell, a dud!"

"Bahman, use this!" Hauss tossed an unusual looking handgun to him. It appeared to be an argent peacemaker, with a red and bronze finish instead of the usual silver and gold. "Well, shoot the fuse with it!" Hauss yelled, pointing at the BBB. Bahman took aim with the Firearm, and pulled the trigger. The projectile it released caught flame as it left the barrel, and set the fuse on fire, detonating the bomb. The point-blank range of it ripped Silverpaw apart, before throwing him on his back, returning him to his Isoran form. Bahman walked over, and pointed the gun to Silverpaw's head. "And another thing? Yer' gear sucks." he said, before pulling the trigger. Bahman, Critzer, and Hauss helped their fallen comrades up as Lanius walked over with a snarbolax pelt. "Nightmare manes, anyone?" He said, chuckling.

"Took you long enough, bolts-for-brains."

"Don't worry boss, most of the time was spent skinning it."

The squad, after getting themselves together, proceeded to walk over to the next lift.

BETA SQUAD: Sigurd, Mithrod, Refal

Orthus was inspecting the sabotaged lift, making a report on it's condition alongside questioning the manager.

"Did you happen to catch the saboteur on security cameras?" He asked.

"No, Sir. The sabotage seemed to occur in one of the lower levels, around tier 2."

"Alright, I'll send a detachment of knights down their to apprehend them."

"I'd hate to tell you this, sir, but we already did. They were all killed."

"Hm. I guess I'll have to deal with it." He began to step onto the lift as a black-gloved hand grabbed him on the shoulder. "Do you really think going down alone is the best decision?"

Orthus turned around, to find Sigurd relighting his pipe.

"Oh, Sigurd. Do you know anything about this?"

"Nothing except for what I overheard, no. What I do know, however, is that if it's able to take an entire squad on it's own, you're going to need some assistance."

"Sigurd, I know for a fact you don't just walk around providing help for the security. What are you really looking for?"

"I was looking to recruit you for this squad I'm forming for an important mission. We can make a deal: We help you apprehend whatever it is that sabotaged the lift, you join."

"Fair enough."

"Good. Let's get a move on, then."

@Spirals-Ore: This variant of the SK world doesn't apply ALL of the game mechanics, just most of them. The snarbolax isn't 100% invincible when it's not stunned, instead, it's hide is very endurant, hence the creation of snarbolax equipment.
