A haunting, diabolical theory is troubling me. It's been 8 months since the inception of the Overcharged Mixmaster into the game. Granted the gun was only fixed for good only a few months ago? Maybe? But here's what's bothering me.

If the Mixmaster isn't implemented in CAKE PARTY COOKING KITCHEN EXTRAVAGANZA and I decide I don't want to roll the gamble box odds to get a box to open ANOTHER PRAY TO VOG IT'S THE FOOD CONFECTION BOX and then decide to open it with the 5% probability to get the Mixmaster...
If I don't want to fork over my life savings to some cheap hack of a merchant who literally wants 40KE worth of stuff...

When will it be back for real? Certainly they won't reintroduce the box a third time. Just look at last year's surprise boxes and the boxes they had. Surge and Hunter stuff? GOOD LUCK WITH THAT!

All I want is to get the new content gun without paying into OOO's fancy pastel color E-casino 5% money wall for new content that everyone has the right to play with, not some rich elitist whose trying to sell it for 40KE WHO DOESN'T EVEN WANT IT.

Sure they could sell it on a SD sale... if a paranoid pixie stick sugar creep cake who'll stay up till 3AM in the morning to pay 10KE out of your wallet.
I want a schedule.

I agree...
There needs to be some alternative version of Mixmaster released that has the same mechanics.
It would work if OOO would flood the market with it. They could flood the featured auctions with them or make them extremely easy to get in prize boxes or maybe even... lockboxes?
Just my thoughts on the matter...

Yep. Stuff like this is why Spiral Knights is uninstalled for me and will remain uninstalled until whoever makes decisions about the game's future gets their priorities straightened out.

The whole "milking conspiracy" really makes the game flat out not worth the effort- the bulk of decisions involving the game are not based on "how can we better the gameplay and produce a better product" but rather based on "how can we gather more money". Getting money is fine, but not at the expense of the product being made and certainly not at the expense of your consumers. Even I can see that, and I'm quite frankly the nastiest person I know.

There's only been one of the darn things on the AH since this promo started, and (merchant or buyer) have already raised the cost through the roof.
So now anytime I got to ask anybody who has one if they are selling it, they go back to the AH price.
"Well so and so paid 2MIL for a mixmaster..."
Do they think everyone is made of money? It's like Fehzor said: the only people who really have this gun are the elite wealthy people who bought into the box scheme and a select few lucky individuals who got one but don't use it because HONESTLY there are better mechanic guns. I'm not paying for e-peen rare unique stuff. I'm only paying for new content the game so rightly deserves.

I could get some VH/Max UV's for less than the price of one crappy unique gun the Devs refuse to put into the game proper.
Don't give me that "good news" garbage unless they actually patch it into the rest of the game.
