Players wanting to buy prizes boxes do not always do so because they don't want to waste their money.
Each box costs $ 4.95 is a price to pay for a useless object.

I propose to change the contents of the boxes so that it contains a consolation prize .

Like this:
All objects with 10% odd or less are distributed as before.

Other potential items will be distributed with at least an amount of energy. Maybe 800 CE or less.

Thus reluctant players will purchase more. They don't waste much money in these boxes.

Depends on the boxes.

Would be nice if the box contents were something nice.

Reskinned boxes (verdant, surge, hunter) are fine as a $4.95 box because you're getting a random item on the list. You're paying for the new stuff, whether you like what you get or not.
Bad prize boxes, such as equinox or solstice, which almost are entirely composed of UV tickets, or unvaried prize boxes, such as the spiralhorn one, should instead be bonuses for energy purchases. The items are now a bonus instead of the main attraction.
Furniture prize boxes should be on the supply depot for ~2000 energy or so each, and should happen a bit more frequently, even if it's technically recycled content.

Cost and odds shift

I don't so much mind the terrible odds as I hate the price, its prohibitively expensive. Normally gamble boxes are cheap, like 1 dollar to a box, and buying in bulk gets you some extra boxes. Here they are 5 times the cost, the point of micro transactions is that they are small. Why spend 50 dollars for 14 boxes here, when I can blow that on another game and get 55-60 in another?
