Sealed Pauldrons: Are they broken?

I'm not sure if this is the right area, but I have to ask everyone about the new Sealed Pauldrons. First of all, they do not fit with the armour that the promotional picture shows them with, and on top of that, they float a foot away and don't move at all.
Oh.. and those horrendous clipping issues with everything..
Shouldn't they be attached to the arms?

Certainly overall a fairly poor cosmetic that I regret buying. I'm praying to the gods that this is simply a bug, and... well, not just extremely lazy design?

Why... didn't you just wait for some other poor sucker to buy them, and then preview them on the auction house? Seems a bit silly to purchase something which you have no idea what looks like ingame with what costumes you own and expect them to look good.

They certainly have potential, but yeah, their placement is quite odd. :c
I used to buy boxes regardless of content but money troubles has me a bit more conservative. I haven't purchased a box in months. :( These are pretty neat, though...

I'm pretty sure that the devs deserve food more than any of us do. You'd better pay up and stop eating. They have to make money somehow and if you don't pay up they will get you and it won't be pretty.

The art did indeed have the sealed pauldrons shown on armor they cannot be attached to in the game. We've updated the art. Please use a bug report in the game to provide the team with information on any problems you may experience with the new accessories.

Didn't Cloak armors allow equipping frontal accessories once?
Why not simply allow more, if not all, armor types including that one to equip frontal accessories?
In fact, why don't those armor types allow that at all to begin with? What is the dictative reason behind this?

Yea, they looked super cool on the promo page, searched em up on the AH, sadly, they completely looked awful with the shield and guns, my buddy likes em, but he only uses em when not in a mission. It would make sense too.

Yeah, what's the deal with the placement? They clip with the character's shield and gun when in an action pose. Also, the straps that hang down aren't 3D at all, they're just 2D sprites pasted in with the cheap 3D effect that makes them always face the camera, so they clip through the arms depending on your character's orientation.
