Hey guys so we've had some discussion around a 1v1/lockdown tournament this summer and, unfortunately, SK forum admins have not allowed this to happen on their forums due to policy - which is completely understandable; so, in order to obey the rules of the forum, the discussion will continue over on Reddit here. Please refer to this thread for all continued discussion on the topic - and above all be respectful to the forum admin's decision to lock our previous thread. I hope this doesn't hinder signups as I think this is going to be a great event!
World's tourny cont.
They locked the thread because you had the paypal donate button on your form to sign up... if you removed that in addition to the real name stuff(which could breach their privacy policy) from the form and contact them in a method which is faster than their mail system(don't ever mail them, they NEVER respond) it's possible that they would unlock the thread. I say it's possible because three rings does nothing but kill the game with it's actions so my hopes for them correcting this are close to zero. Oh also, unlocking the thread and having the link there would be better because there is no sign up link anywhere I can find anymore..
Their mail support is quite good. Whenever I mail them I would get a reply the same day and it would take about 1-5 hours. But yeah remove the PayPal thing and asking for real life names and they might just unlock it for ya :)
I think the problem here was asking for cash period, not asking for cash on the forums. That's presumably against the TOS and Eury would probably not like to see it on Reddit either.
I've removed the donation link. I will have the signup forms changed to remove the real name fields as well. I honestly didn't know that the donation link would violate the ToS. I'm not asking for money from anyone to boost the prize pool I figured it was OK because going to the link I posted does not "force" you to give any money - it was just there to use at your discretion. Anyways, I think further discussion should take place on the subreddit until they unlock the thread (if they do). Also, I've put the link back in the original thread with the donation button removed. If you have any other questions I would say ask me in-game or on Reddit, I really do not want any more unwanted attention from (pseudo) forum admins/mods.

How about you respect the Forum Rules instead?
