Singing in through steam in the non-steam launcher

So here is my issue

I started playing this game on my Windows PC, 2 years ago. Got rid of it, and installed Linux Ubuntu on my new PC, which I got not so long ago. When I had Windows as my operating system, I merged my game account with my steam account, so I could play this game.

Now, because I am on Linux, I am trying to find a way to play with that particular account on the site game launcher, since Three Rings has yet to release the Linux version of Spiral Knights on steam.

Short, I'd like to know if and how I can:

  • Unmerge my original account from my steam account.
  • Use a web session login for steam accounts.
  • Transfer my steam account to a facebook account, so I can log in via Facebook.
  • Any other way of being able to play on this account.

sorry, but you can't do any of these. There should have been a warning before you merged that said that you can't unmerge it. Sorry! :(, I feel yeh

Well,

Thanks for the help, I guess. Are you sure I can't do anything about it but wait for the steam release?

If so, that's a bummer.

Yes, but...

Yes, I do have a Windows 7 laptop that barely surpasses the minimum requirements, and because of the unbearable lagspikes that usually give me 2 frames per second I avoid to use it.
Also, it probably takes 15 minutes of loading screen just to get from the Start Room to Haven.
