I may be wrong by this but, do the GMs actually check the Suggestions Thread anymore?

I have seen many good ideas on here, but I never see any response from GMs. Is it even worth posting my own?

I have even looked on the forum, and the suggestions haven't been answered since about page 300 (Around year 2012).

Does anyone know if they even check the Suggestions Thread anymore?

don't know, but

There have been instances of suggestions' being implemented in the game. I don't know how actively Three Rings monitors the forum currently, though. In general, any question about "worth" depends on your values...

Do you enjoy thinking about game design? Then maybe you'd like to post a suggestion, even if it has no chance of being implemented.

Or is there something that really irritates you about the game? It MUST be changed, or else you will get upset? Then maybe you shouldn't post to suggestions, because you may well be disappointed.

@ Iolly

Suggestions are more than that, sure you may not get what you want (how long did it take sprites to get made?) or even a GM response (unless you use vulgar language). Working with others to hone and polish your suggestion is fun and if the developers do put it in you and the forum population have already discussed and addressed some of the problems that may have popped up. Basically you're doing a fair amount of work for OOO in their development process.

The OOO team is rather small ATM and help with ideas and suggestions would be appreciated, every idea you think up is an idea OOO doesn't have to. Every Idea you polish gives OOO a head start.

Its not about doing the work

Its not about doing the work for OOO. Its about giving the developers an idea of what we want for the game. Unfortunately, over the last two years, the rate of updates has slowed dramatically, sort of diminishing the need for forum/7

algorithms are the solutions to any problem.

OOO staff never responds to the suggestion threads because they can't give any assurance to the fact those suggestions will or won't be in the game ever. since they work for OOO, any response from them can be taken as such.
