Occasionally when zombies leap, they'll immobilize you and gnaw your noggin' without dealing damage. Zombie regular attacks should also have that ability to immobilize the target.
I don't know if the immobilize on the leap is by random chance or if it's a sweet-spot sort of thing, but whatever applies to leaping should also apply to swipes to make them more lethal :D

I got rekt by zombies in FSC... they leap-grabbed twice in a row and I wasn't facing the zombie that grabbed me either time... so I died. Oh the Valkyrie Helm D:
That was exciting than any other encounter I've had with zombies... soooooo OOO should add them cuz much excitement.

Well actually...

Zombies used to not deal damage on their jump attack and instead the bites would deal damage. They changed it so the leaps dealt damage but the gnawing didn't, however the gnawing isn't really supposed to be that big of a thing.
I believe it's a sweet-spot sorta thing, yeah.

As for zombie swipes, I'm gonna say no to immobilizing, however if we get an AI rehaul for Elite mode at any point, I'd like to see zombie jumps AND the gnawing deal damage, along with the grabbing more common.

i agree...

I agree that the fodder mob zombies do need a boost an fangel suggestion seems reasonable.

Though i think boosting the undead family by just adding more zombie variety would be a huge plus. I mean everthing dies in sk, like us spiral knights, gremlins, firnds ect..Everything besides the undead dies lol. So why not make undead version of some besides the fodder zombie monsters?

"it's a sweet-spot sorta thing."

and then...

"That was exciting than any other encounter I've had with zombies... soooooo OOO should add them cuz much excitement."

You're doing this on purpose aren't you? mental attack! MENTAL ATTACK!! Must enable the use of memory deletion proceedures.

But seriously, I haven't been zombie grappled in forever(this isn't what i'm trying to say)... I thought they had removed it entirely, does this really still happen? :/

And no, zombies that grapple on every attack isn't a good idea, specially when they mostly swarm in groups of 5-6, I don't even want to think what would happen if you get caught by one of them and then the others tag along... permalocked? possibly. (still thinking about it aren't ya)

just let zombies hurt on bites but not while leaping like it was b4
