4K resolution???

hello ive completed several searches and havent found any answers... not even anyone with the same issue as me... im running a very capable computer with a 4K monitor. but spiral knights is only allowing me to play WINDOWED mode at a resolution of 2560x1440..... is there a way to play this game at 3840x2160?

i appreciate all help thank you... i just sucks playing a window a third of the screen size

Try to change resolution setting in registry (HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\JavaSoft\Prefs\projectx\display_mode).

If you're running an Nvidia GPU you should be able to just add custom resolutions in the GPU control panel and use them in-game. It's worked for me with stuff like 1920x600, at least.

I'm still waiting for my 4k monitor to come in the mail, but I do have a 5760x1080 screenshot, lol.

algorithms are the solutions to any problem.

since the UI doesn't scale much with screen size, it's not actually a good idea. I don't think you will be able to see the chat.

You'd need a screen the size of a coffin lid for that sort of resolution >.<'

You don't need a screen like that, you can just downscale it in your GPU to fit your monitor or simply have some of it off screen (I think; haven't tried having a resolution greater than my screen without downsampling). You can also use triple monitors.
