So I wanted to know how the Spiral Knights is doing today.
Quitted playing after a year and a half R.I.P. Nomorenubers (Defender Elite)
The first thing I did was to go the the forums and asked questions.
Which did not ended really well (Why the aggressive responses? Why you gotta be so rude?)
So I downloaded the game again and played it. I logged in with an old account (kight elite) and played for 30 minutes.
Here's what I noticed:
1.) Game is still in the same state as I left. Radiant Shard still rare as a four leaf clover. Gameplay still the same, noticed the new Vanguard missions, which is basicly teaser missions for the dlc, shadow lairs.
2.) Jempire is gone. Haven't found them in the leaderboards anymore. Can someone tell me are they still leading T3?
3.) T2 LD no longger loved. I really love the PvP of this game, no matter how unbalanced it is. I always play for T2. But now, T2 LD no longger exists. Also as usual, Bomb Network is ignored.
4.) Fewer Newbies. I also made a new knight and went to the first rescue camp. Saw a few players there, fewer than before I left.
5.) Gunner update actually released. after all this time, /cry.
6.) Nicks gone, which is sad.

I don't like making essays never good at that. So here's my message to people like me who plans to play again.
Flaws are still unchanged, it seems. SK is still Costume/Reskin Simulator 2015. Gunner update actually released(hurrah!).
Not worth playing anymore.
But then again, this is just my opinion :(.

Err, haven't they been ever since the game launched? Bug patches have been slow ever since year 2.

Fixed that for you. You've been truncheoning yourself with this game for how many hours? Can you not see this? You're pulling the stereotypical "I'm bored of this game, so now it's a crap game" BS.

I'm sorry, since when did "optional content" cast negative points on the gameplay of a game?
I'm not actively defending the game, but I can tell you're upset for self-generated reasons. Games don't change this far into their lifespan. Spiral Knights is not alpha. It's not going to magically become interesting to you just you've spend several hundred hours playing it and decided to take a break for a few months.
Games are a media in the entertainment category. All media for the purposes of entertainment eventually become boring. You wouldn't listen to the same song as long as you've played Spiral Knights, and you wouldn't watch a TV series more times than the times you've seen the SK login screen.
Buy a new game, toy, book, album, anime, tv show, movie or artwork, and go appreciate it. That'll certainly be more constructive than complaining about issues everyone is already aware of because of the crapload of other old gamers who have returned, whined, and then left before you.
