I think the option to name a weapon in a similar way as naming a Battle Sprite would be nice. Nothing too serious, just a fun little feature. If you're proud of a weapon, it'd be nice to give it a cool name.
Naming Weapons
It seems pretty interesting. Also it makes sense due to the description of the 3 star calibur, which goes something like this: "Knights who have been issued these fine swords later bond with them and name them." It's a good idea, Rhavencroft.
@Fangel Oh, yes, definitely. I did consider that. Thanks!
@Fight-Beetle Thank you! I knew I read that Calibur's description before but if I remembered it or saw it earlier I would have added it to the post or something, heh.
Nice idea. It's a harmless cool suggestion. I think just as were able to see the name of our pets and other knights pets, we should also be able to see the name of another players loadout they have equipes and the name for their weapons. It would make for good conversation.
I'm kinda wondering why this isn't already a thing.
I'm all up for Weapon aesthetics. Naming them and being able to use some as costumes would be nice. I don't know why there's such a big fuss over it, if other games have implemented this seamlessly, or have come with similar alternatives.
I'd be all up for renaming my equips, as long as the original name appears somewhere in the description window.
we need to go further
i want to name each of the individual bullets that are ejected from my blitz needle
I was actually thinking about this exact same thing a few days ago. I'm all for it.
Nice idea. But it could be confusing for new players as someone has already said. Also it would be a new way to irritate people by copying names. There could be chaos. But a nice idea though
After we name our weapons, the original name can always stay on a small tooltip icon players can hover their mouse on to find out the original name of the gear. This way, they won't get confuse if the player that is doing the inspection is a new player.
Would be okay if the name of the weapon is portrayed on the tooltip somewhere, so new players won't be confused by the name of a weapon.
