This is rather intriguing. If they don't have a web designer, time to get hiring!

This is what's going on, and this is how Spiral Knights stacks up. Quite poorly, eh?

So...who's up for some revisions at long last? This is a good test to see what OOO really thinks of Spiral Knights. Sits back down.

Google is changing mobile searches to better rank mobile friendly results.

I do not see how this changes anything...
Except maybe fewer "lulz sowwe cnt tipe well - on fone" posts.

This only affects how often people's google searches will result in Spiral Knights appearing close to the top.

Why does this matter? Currently, how many searches can you perform in google that results in the Spiral Knights homepage occuring in the results anyway?

If you're googling the terms Spiral Knights, even with this new system, I don't see any reason why http://www.spiralknights.com will show up in any position other than top result.

Spiral Knights doesn't run on mobile devices anyway.

TL;DR, if you are looking for Spiral Knights, you will find it, it's not difficult to type the words "Spiral Knights" into google (or just see it without searching anything on Steam's recommendeds) and thus arrive at its homepage. If you're not looking for Spiral Knights, you don't find it. This has always been the case?

Uhh...

I go on the forums all the time on my kindle. All you have to do is magnify the screen with your fingers, and scroll to the other parts of the screen. This really changes nothing anyway. Besides, I don't trust Goolge, so I don't use their browser or search engine anyway!

Ironically, most of the "mobile-friendly" sites are UNfriendly with my Galaxy i5510. Also, that test shows the page zoomed out. I use Dolphin and pages always load at real-size. If their beloved Chrome isn't smart enough to do that, is not our problem!

I'm sorry Google, I'm not trusting you this time.

It's a weird move from

It's a weird move from Google, you can tell right off the bat they're trying to push the web dev community standards by punishing them for lack of cross-platform consideration. Here's the kicker though..not all websites are meant to be used on a mobile device. Spiral Knights doesn't really sound like that kind of game you'd just randomly find off Google, unless you actually meant to find it. Also, it gets its player base from the various games websites/managers (steam, armorgames, others I can't think about) so on the long run SK isn't really gonna be affected by this.
Last of all they're using Drupal, so you can tell they really tried to go for something quick with this website, it's not likely they'll be updating it anytime soon, other than through Drupal's content management tools.
