OOO had a history of not involving with CE market so it's unlikely they'll change their box model just to help market. Seems to me they're trying to raise the CE price with all these recent promos (1 month constant promos ongoing currently).

You do realize this is probably just one or two rich players messing with the market for the lolz, right? Wealthly players nowadays can single-handedly crash the market on a whim. Don't worry, it'll self correct within a week or so.
*EDIT*
Unless you're talking about the CE price approaching 9000. I've never seen it stay above 9k for long. Ocasionally it brushes up against it, but it almost always comes down with a good promo.

I always find myself having to adjust my internal gear price calculator.

While I love the ability to find Orbs in the Arcade, without the free 100 Mist a day, crafting things has become even more expensive when buying the raw Orbs, even when avoiding the AH for Orbs.
If this persists, will we be seeing boxes with energy purchases again?
