New item: Bots
It looks like Bosco modified some Shufflebots for a variety of useful purposes. Here are some of his most successful modifications.

1. Cratebot:
Cratebots double your Clockworks inventory space and allow you to carry one more mineral deposit. Be warned, if the Cratebot is destroyed, you lose anything inside. All Cratebots are fitted with an Energy Repulsor that can push away enemies that come too close, however it does not deal any damage. The Energy Repulsor can only fire every 3 seconds, so large groups of enemies may be able to swarm the Cratebot.
Energy repulsors have no effect on traps.
Cratebots have the same HP as a Mecha Knight Kit of the same depth.
Price: 15,000 crowns.

2. Blastbot:
Blastbots provide fire support to Knights exploring the Clockworks. Essentially a Energy Turret mounted on a Shufflebot chassis, the small size of a Shufflebot limits the size of the energy capacitor and thus the turret's fire rate. Blastbots can fire a single beam capable of hitting multiple enemies in a row every 5 seconds.
Blastbots have the same HP as a Mecha Knight Kit of the same depth.
T1 damage per hit: 25
T2 damage per hit: 50
T3 damage per hit: 90
Price: 40,000 crowns.

3. Merchbot:
Merchbots sell a Knight's goods in Haven while he/she is exploring or offline. Right-clicking (or whatever action key you use) a Merchbot opens up the Shop HUD, with a list of items (and their prices) a Knight has put up for sale. Crowns from sold items are mailed to the owner of the Merchbot, not unlike the Auction House. Knights who frequently use the Auction House may find Merchbots to be a good investment over time, as no fee is required to use them once bought. After setting the area of Haven and instance for the Merchbot, it will automatically roam about in said area and instance until all of the goods inside are sold.
Price: 25,000 crowns.

i like..

Very nice suggestion. Although i would alter the price on the first bot that carries minerals to be lower, but overall very nice suggestion. Any changes or improvement is to maybe havesome accessories for these bots and different skins for them too. Also maybe having a few augments like being able to set the pet on the bot to increase the bots fire rate in exchange for not using a pet. Also using these bots should take an inventory slot while exploring the clockworks.

I am no longer allowed to boil soup in my toaster.

About the 1 inventory slot, I believe it was going to be the currently unused 4th slot (or whichever slot is never used right now) for the bot(s).

I like the ideas of merchbots, However, will these bots be permanent, or will you have to buy more once they break, or fix them for a fee?

i say

I feel the bots should not be permanent. how about after they break, the pieces of the bot would be left on the ground qhere the bot broke for the owner to pick it up. The owner of the bot can then use the pieces and go to a repair npc in the baazar to rebuild the bot using the recycled pieces plus the recipy for that bot. The price and extra mats to rebuild the bot would obviously be half if not more less costly then to buy the bot outright from an npc merchant. What do you guys think about this idea?

Idea: If a Cratebot or

Idea: If a Cratebot or Blastbot is destroyed, it remains inactive until the next Clockwork Terminal is reached (Arcade) or the mission is completed (Prestige Missions, Rank Missions, Expansion Missions). After the Clockwork Terminal is passed or the mission is completed, the bot will repair itself and continue to function as normal.

Merchbots can't be destroyed as there isn't anything to kill them while they wander around in the selected area and instance of Haven selling goods.

hmmm

I feel OOO would make more money off of us if the bots were destroyable/repairable with player own crowns. So i think giving them moderate health and for the player to have an on hand mini repair kit is cooler. So i'll have to disagree with you on this one Quintinius.

The price might have to be

The price might have to be lowered a bit though if the players have to constantly fix them with crowns all the time.

Any more suggestions?

"the price might have to be lowered a bit though if the players have to constantly fix them with crowns all the time."

I should probably mention battle sprites, they cost a ton to get, and even more to level completely, OOO probably has no issues with making things really expensive to get, they might even make repairs require orbs

Take note!

the thing i disagree about merchbot is its heavenly use itself. Imagine this, because of the not-so-cheap prize, let's say only half the trader could get it. Then, let's just say the number of traders in a haven (remember there is haven 1-10, i think, maybe more but idk) is about 50, so make that 25 bots. Now where is the place most strategic to deploy this guys? the bazaar and right in the entrance or near the fountain. so let's take that 25 to 8 in bazaar, 9 in the central haven, and 8 somewhere else. That is the problem! They will basically fill up our space! And the number of trader won't desearce, they will insearce as knights that has reached end-game content insearce as well! I hope you keep this in mind, as the idea itself is brilliant.

Easy fix

Limit the mechbots per instance of Haven to 5. We have hundreds of instances.
