I'm really skeptic that OOO actually listens to requests, but here we go.

The Guild System sucks, "-2.4/10"

Dead guilds are everywhere, and the only half decent available activity is GvG which most guilds (Except LD No-Life Guilds, *cough* Contri *cough*) don't even have the members or skills to even bother.

Making friends? Great, wonderful, spectacular. But, that's about it. Who wants to donate to a Guild that doesn't have any activities?! They try and pull off unofficial "giveaways" or "events" which gets them pretty much nowhere, as well as less items in their pockets which may have been donations to keep the rickety guild standing. What I'm saying is, OOO, set some official activities Guilds can do.

My ideas:

Guildie Exclusive Minigames, yielding prizes depending on teamwork.

This is an idea from another game I play, but if you can build around this idea, that'll be great:
Basing: towers or buildings are set up and they all contain cores which must be destroyed to gain control, any number of different guilds can hop into this public map accessible at any time to try and take the tower or building.

OOO probably isn't gonna see this, nor work on it even if they do, so just tell me what you think below :)

Mm.

Guilds are about community. They should be an environment where like-minded people come together. Customizing your guild keeps stuff fun, and upkeep makes the guild remain active.

It would be fun to have guild "minigames", such as a snowball fight one in the guildhall (make buckets an item you can purchase from the emporium and place in the guildhall, endless bucket), same with water balloons.
Add a PvP training hall. One for bomberman, 3 for lockdown (per tier).

But in all honesty, guilds are not supposed to be much more than a big community of dedicated players. No need to have guild exclusive items with guild exclusive rewards - as long as a solo player has access to the same rewards and items as a guilded person does, then it's all good.

Correction.
Upkeep FORCES the guild to stay active.

i agree...

I agree complety to this post original point and this is why i suggested this: ( http://forums.spiralknights.com/en/node/109272#comment-989923 ) where guilds would have an activity that allows them to inpact haven and other players.

Perhaps if a daily Prestige mission is done with a full team of guildmates you get more prestige.
