A week before the Skylark flew to Cradle...

Flux said, "In a few days, we will be hiding inside the cargo hold of the Skylark."

Djinn laughed, "Oh Flux, we already went over our plans in Cradle for months! We're gonna be fine!"

Flux, ignoring the interruption, continued, "I'm not talking about Cradle. I'm talking about after."

"Huh? Go on."

"We're going to need a few allies along the way. I suggest a maximum of three. Since our mission won't be liked by many, support will be few. We cannot simply kill of an ally, but rather take care and watch them. Miss Ginny, you MUST listen EXTREMELY carefully to this next part. Tell me that you're listening."

Djinn stood up tall. She said, "I'm listening."

Flux grabbed Djinn, whispering, "Djinn, you remember how the Dark Blade was made, right?"

Djinn's eyes became wide. "Yes."

"The allies are going to ask questions about the Swarm, the Dark Blade, everything. However, here, a MASSIVE hole in our plan to destroy Isora appears. The Swarm, I've studied other people who were exposed to it. Every single one gains a feeling to know more about it. That's okay. But, the answers to the questions they ask you will not satisfy them. If their need to learn more is deep enough, their questions will become quite troublesome."

Djinn said, "So..."

Flux grabbed Djinn's head and snarled, "DJINN! NO ONE MUST EVER LEARN ABOUT THE MAN IN GREY! IF THEY LEARN, OUR WHOLE PLAN WILL FAIL! THE MAN IN GREY MUST NEVER COME IN CONTACT WITH OUR ALLIES IN ANY WAY! THE MAN IN GREY IS OUR BIGGEST WEAKNESS! DO NOT LET ANYONE LEARN!"

Lotus said, "I've been...curious about the Dark Blade, the Swarm. Do you know about the origins of the Swarm?"

Djinn gripped the Dark Blade. Oh Lotus, won't we have an adventure together, she thought.
