I figure some people might be disappointed because content updates aren't coming out for a bit, however some good has still come from the promo - old costumes in the new themes!
As far as I can see we've gotten every promo color on the unique splash stuff. I really do hope this is the start of doing similar things for other sets. Would love to have a lovely mecha suit or a polar gremlin mask!
So far as long as I've been around I've never seen a promo re-release with other special promo colors on 'em. I'm more excited at the fact that we're getting boxes with old accessories in all promo-colors than the fact that we're getting sarongs again... Especially since it opens up more opportunity for the future to do the same.
Imagine Rose Regalia getting this treatment. We'd have waaaay too many roses at that point, but hey, costumes aren't really hurting anyone.
I am thoroughly excited to get home and start expanding my Sarong collection.
@ Fangel I'm a big fan of the Rose sets, but I hope they don't release more Rose costumes in different colors since I still haven't collected all the other ones from the past few Rose promos. They should at least wait a year so I can finish collecting the ones I'm missing, hah.
As for this promo, it's not too bad, I guess a lot of us were just hyped for some new content. I'm sure they'll have it all fixed in a week or two, I can wait that long. Maybe by the end of this promo we'll also be getting the Kat Event as well as some new content. Guess we'll find out eventually.
Honestly seeing that there's new Surge items made my entire night. I'm so happy. ;w;
I'm STILL sporting Surge gear from way back when, I'd love to be able to update my wardrobe a bit with some of the new costumes and accessories in that same color scheme. THIS GIVES ME HOPE!
Probably should just pull the Plunge prize box discussion from last year this time around.
