>> Looking at new promo image
>> See crescent helm knight guy wear round shades
>> We can't put round shades on and costume recolor crescent helms
>> MFW OOO shows off what we can't have: https://img.4plebs.org/boards/pol/image/1385/78/1385781241325.gif

Remind me again why crescent helms and round helms don't have front slots when CLEARLY cobalt helms and Valk helms have front slots.

OOO needs to get their facts straight.
Either change the image, or make it so costumes have the slots they are supposed to have.

Crescent helms also have a top slot while cobalt does not. I've been waiting for that to be fixed so I cam pit a prismatic halo on my Earth Angel costume (HIA + Cobalt Helm)

Let's not forget the Pith Helm "eye holes" not being real holes.

I had noticed that as well, but that is among the least of my worries when we already have these things practically advertised as content in the game.

  • x Post-Battle Sprite Update recruits with pre-release Proto weapons. You tell me what sense this all makes, let alone the Proto Gun functionning like a needler gun.
  • x Speaking of the Proto Gun...
  • x Tri-Guard Helm nose is open here.
  • x I'm making a stretch here, but the frying pan is very conspicuously showcased and designed enough to appear as a new weapon for knights. I certainly did expect it to be since last year.
  • x The Gold Wolf and Gold Dragon sets.
  • x A Regal-themed Scale Helm.
  • And this isn't mentionning the screenshots from the Media page that feature beta items and other content not seen in the final game, which include:

  • A differently-textured and cleaner-looking Ancient Plate armor set.
  • Sealed Sword's original appearance with the neon green highlights.
  • Boswick's Black Kat Hat. This particular helm does not have the scarf the Kat Cowls that are obtainable in the game have. Also seen in the release trailer.
  • A grey shield modelled after the Defender, but without any insigna on it. It may or may not be the Stop Sign shield.
  • The indestructible boxes before they were replaced by larger ventilation fan-like contraptions. A few certain levels like Dark City still contain them, however.
  • A set of bright pink proto armor. The Verdant costumes come close, but aren't quite the same.
  • The Slush Puppy's structure seems to look more closely related to a Rocket Puppy than a Gun Puppy.
  • A set of armor ressembling the Dust Zombie in more acute details, possibly having ended up becoming the Skelly set.
  • A Regal-themed Scale Armor. It also seems to be in the aforemented avatar image.
  • The beta version of the Angelic armor set.
  • A Heavy-themed knight helm with its nose closed. It is also sporting a Prismatic Plume.

A differently-textured and cleaner-looking Ancient Plate armor set.
IIRC that was the old Volcanic Plate Mail.

The indestructible boxes before they were replaced by larger ventilation fan-like contraptions. A few certain levels like Dark City still contain them, however.
I remember that patch... that was weird when they changed them for no real reason...

A set of bright pink proto armor. The Verdant costumes come close, but aren't quite the same.

This was the Jelly Mail before the models were finished. Note the Rock Jelly Shield the same knight is toting.

A set of armor ressembling the Dust Zombie in more acute details, possibly having ended up becoming the Skelly set.

Correct. Before that, they just copy+pasted the Zombie's head for the helmet :P, and a recolored Brigandine for the armor.

"IIRC that was the old Volcanic Plate Mail."

That could also be possible, I admit that it being the Ancient Plate set was my first assumption.

"I remember that patch... that was weird when they changed them for no real reason..."

    Indeed.

"This was the Jelly Mail before the models were finished. Note the Rock Jelly Shield the same knight is toting."

I hadn't known that. I actually wondered what the alpha/beta Jelly set looked like.

"Correct. Before that, they just copy+pasted the Zombie's head for the helmet :P, and a recolored Brigandine for the armor."

I doubt the SK team would get away with such placeholders these days.

I think the first picture is the only picture on the media page that isn't outdated in some way.

Think again, that Royal Jelly Mail looks like it's a placeholder.

The helmet is also a placeholder that was just a purple pith helmet with the crown on it.
