Do you play on Elite difficulty? If you do, you'll get a lot more crowns and orbs of alchemy.

I had it all typed out earlier, but I didn't submit and I need to rewrite everything.
To sum it all up:

My highly recommended place to farm Elite orbs with a likely chance is the Jelly King, or Royal Jelly Palace (The Sovereign Slime).
It gives 2800-3400 crowns per run. Don't be discouraged if you don't get an orb the first run. Plenty of boxes.
You also have a lesser chance of getting Advanced and Eternal Orbs, but don't rely on RJP for those too much.
At max efficiency, it only takes ~10-15 minutes. It can be as fast as you make it out to be.
You may even get lucky and get 4 elite orbs in one run; it's just that easy to get. Or that might just be me, I don't know.

Royal Jelly is a bad idea.

Do Sewer Stash instead, I find it gives me a lot more Elites, on Elite.

You could at least say why it's a bad idea.

But yeah, Sewer Stash is also a good place to farm elites.
JK on par instead gives more crowns per run for more potential orbs brought by AH (Still against doing it), and per 5 runs, given that you earn 3 per run, gains you an extra 3,500 crowns to sell by buying a 3* Jelly gear from Brinks in Bazaar.

Considering what gear you may use, either will work for you.
Sewer Stash for breach / clearing, running through enemies as you loot boxes for orb chances.
RJP for crowns and orbs, but takes up more time to finish and may be tougher for you.
If you're focusing solely on the orbs, and you have the crowns to craft / get the recipes (If not the provided set), Sewer Stash would be a better decision in a rarity:time ratio. No orbs or in need of more orbs, quit, rerun in a snap.

Also, on the subject of the Royal Jelly...

Calling the Royal Jelly the "Jelly King"
Calling the Royal Jelly the "Jelly King"
CALLING THE ROYAL JELLY THE "JELLY KING"

But the question is...

...Is it relevant? They can still figure it out either way, actual name or not.

It really peeves me whenever someone calls the Royal Jelly the "Jelly King", when there is NO EVIDENCE IN GAME THAT SUGGESTS IT SHOULD BE CALLED THAT.

It is (Or was) called "JK" as a common nickname* for the little... guy. Thing. Big.
To be exposed to enough people, if any, he would know of it in due time. A very short time.

A simple "What's JK?" will clarify. Hell spawn, no one said RJ, or at least 1/16 did, when I was new to the game, when there was still a majority of people playing, especially Jempire; Mist system for that matter.

And even then- why is JK- I mean, Royal Jelly... A bad place to farm in your view?

*It became kind of a replacement imo, no one I've been with since the Battle Sprite update has ever said "RJ" more than twice. JK became kind of notorious (in a sense) in which that it became part of the little slang between many players.

Okay, well, I never seem to find Elites in Royal Jelly Palace, but when I play Sewer Stash...they come by the dozens.

It's anecdotal evidence for me.

It seems to be anecdotal for both of us.

There's always this, though. Although it's not necessarily completely reliable yet, I think. The data is only as accurate as much as the data it receives.

Hey Guys I'm Back!

Well, no offense, but I think that there may be a teensy weensy problem with the Lancer Knightz data. For example, I do Royal Jelly and Sewer Stash atleast once everyday and all I've got from Sewer Stash till now is 2 Elites (I'm now a Defender Elite). And Jelly King, well, it gives me an Elite orb almost every alternate run. And it has also given me 2 Eternal orbs and 1 Advanced orb so far.

So what I'm saying is that the Lancer Knightz data shows a bit less amount of orbs that you get and I think that it needs to be updated.
Also, keep doing The Sovereign Slime for nice loot and ORBS at ELITE DIFFICULTY (a must). You get good loot and when you get 15 tokens you can also buy something and sell it to the vendor for a nice bonus. If you do not get Elite orbs in 10 runs, then you tell me.
Elite difficulty please.

data exist to narrow down uncertainty

Two data sets will always disagree somewhat. After all, the rewards are randomized. That's why we have to collect lots of data, to tease out the random effects and figure out the averages.

That said, the Lancer Knightz data are very carefully collected, over a long period of time. As far as I can tell, you have not collected any comparable data set. So, insofar as the two seem to disagree, I'll be going with Lancer Knightz for the near future.

If you want to help, then collect data according to their procedure, so that we can do a direct comparison. :)

@topic

Both are good spots. They both hit the correct area for obtaining elite orbs and have a higher than arcade average. If you spot a stratum 4 arcade gate with 2 arenas, that spot will beat out both of these missions for farming crowns and orbs easily.

@JK discussion

"This massive gelatinous cube has a short fuse and loves to throw his weight around. When his royal tasters are absent a poisoned parfait would be a royal pain." — Monstrous Codex: Royal Jelly

I believe that is strong evidence that the Royal Jelly can be referred to as "Jelly King". The auto target identifies the shadow lair version as Ice Queen.

Who's to say it's not a Prince, or a Duke, or a Khan, or a Jarl, etc?

Jelly King is overrated. Most

Jelly King is overrated. Most people who say it's good farming ground have a chaos set and a brandish, meaning they are maxed out.

Try Roarmulus Twins instead on elite, much easier in low tier gear. More boxes per # enemies killed, greater chance of finding elites. It has enemy groups that are more easily skippable as well. All in all, it takes about 10 minutes to speedrun to the boss, with 3* gear. The boss itself may take some practice, but if it can be done in 3 minutes (Pretty much impossible with any 3* weapon (maybe pepperbox?), you would probably need an Avenger).

I had a RRT farming set, fastest I beat the entire levels while killing all enemies was 11 minutes. Had avenger, Nightblade, and blaster. Additionally, you could unbind and sell pulsars for a 10-15k crown profit. Not sure how good this would be today, but it worked last september. And yes, it payed elites quite well.

@Nefariousity

Winter grave line is one of the best weapons for RT. Fastest I've killed boss is 2m6s [timed from stepping on the elevator from the previous depth to picking up the token]. Average solo killing time for me is ~2m30s. You can see some of my timed data here. I would definitely agree that someone adept at playing the game would beat IMF significantly faster than RJP, but the IMF boss has a great chance of taking significantly longer if you dont use some key strategies.
