So, these new missions sound pretty awesome. Too bad I am a paltry defender elite...will have to wait. But this isn't what I wanted to post about!

I was doing FSC just now, and the game disconnected me from the server. My personal connection was fine (could load videos and such). Nothing I did would restore the connection, until it magically came back with me lying dead on the floor.

I did not post to complain about this however, but rather offer a potential solution. The same thing happens when I spectate lockdown, players suddenly all run off in directions tangent to their last movement. This behavior continues until the server decides to reconnect (at least 15 seconds). However, I found that every single time, when I pressed the arrow button to switch players, the connections fixes itself perfectly (within 2 seconds of pressing the button usually).

So, two question for you guys:
1) Does this happen to you as well? Your connection is fine, but the game fails to communicate for 5-90 seconds or so, and randomly comes back?
2) Do you think implementing a "refresh connection" button would fix this problem, based off of the results of spectating lockdown? Something that would disconnect and reconnect the connection in some way?

It isn't a huge deal (well, it might become one if I run out of sparks), but it does adversely affect farming, especially when you are trying to speedrun FSC before your parents call you down for dinner and come flying up the stairs if you don't respond in 2 seconds.

I will try to record an event of this happening for you guys, though predicting lag-outs is nearly impossible. Will update if I can snag one on video.

"Players suddenly all run off in directions tangent to their last movement"
That typically happens when the connection with the server gets suddenly interrupted, but normally (or at least this is what happens to me) if the game doesn't manage to restore the connection within 10 seconds or so, you should just be brought back to the login screen, with the notice "you have been disconnected from the server".

I have no idea, it may sounds like you're having massive lag spikes, but if you are looking for a solution you could try to post something/move this thread to the technical issues forum, maybe this is a known issue.
