Today there was a new mission update. I turned my PC on and click on spiral knights and it wont open. When i click on it again the multiple instances window comes on. I waited several minutes for the window to open but it wont. Please help.

I know Mac PCs currently

I know Mac PCs currently require JDK and not JRE. Maybe you need to install the Developer version of Java?
