How about instead of having a player die so many times on Vanaduke and then spending over 10k crowns because the prices are so high for energy. Then finally succeeding on killing him but it was all for NOTHING because your dead at the end and the only people that get tokens are the ones alive! Like seriously fix that to where everyone gets tokens! Even if your dead at the end. I put in so much work just to earn nothing?! That makes me want to quit this game FOREVER!

Is this another complaint thread about being dead while other people kill bosses?
Sure, getting there is half the battle, but if you can't keep yourself alive during the fight then that's on you. Laying on the ground dead isn't helping your team, and I'm sure if you did a lot to help but ran out of sparks at the end that a player who is both respectable and saw what you did will revive you if you ask politely... and if they can.
Either that or, you know, lower the difficulty and try again. :)

I agree with you pyro Eyes. I don't see the average player making that much profit getting an extra few tokens. I doubt OOO will make it free though.

Pyro-Eyes, what you can do is find armor that is to your liking and just continue playing, developing the skills that fit your playing style.

Dead players used to get tokens. I used it extensively in the sense that I dragged alts with me down to vanaduke, beat him up, and crafted loads of ancient plates for profit.
Dead players not getting tokens was a way to combat that. Sorry for ruining it.
It sounds like you tried valiantly and I respect your efforts because I know exactly how you feel and so does Linkin Park, especially if your party was just bad, but the bottom line is that you didn't earn the reward at the end and so should not receive that reward.
If I fail on a level, I don't want to receive a reward for it because beating a level isn't just about getting some loot, it's about that glorious feeling of accomplishment and knowing that you're a better player-- capable of overcoming the obstacle that was presented. The evil X-Mas mission is all about that- you get.. reskinned weapons, not things that are going to drastically improve your play. Most of the players already had a UV'd version of those reskinned weapons, but they got them anyway. Why? Because it shows that they're skilled, and that they're capable of taking on crazy respawning grievers and that awful battlepod fight at the end. That's the reward, not the snowman head or even the flashy trinket at the end. Firestorm Citadel is, at first, about that same thing. You beat it, and you get Fang of Vog, a trophy weapon.
