Hello knights. I must say, I really like this game so far as it's going right now! I love the missions, Haven, everything about it! I just think there should be just a couple more things.
A Few Extra Vanguard Missions
I might have a few ideas for them: Hall of Heroes requiring 6 star gear, missions giving you 6 star gear, and maybe a couple normal missions.
(Missions) The Sword of The King (Gives you the 6 star sword
Prince's Assault (Gives you the 6 star gun and bomb , functions like an autogun, and The Destruction Salvge, working twice as
better as any 5 star bomb.)
The 6 * Gear
New gear and missions? Sure. 6-star? Not so much. It just doesn't feel right and the crafting/dmg costs/math would be very bleh. I am adamantly in disfavor of anything above 5-star gear because of how integrated the system is with everything else in the game - depths, tier, etc. Even battle sprites, which seem to not follow the star system, do - despite being "level 100" and whatnot - just hover over them in-game to see the star level. Sure you can rework the numbers into a different pattern but...why? It's fine. The game can scale in difficulty, forcing players to rely on mechanics instead of DPS, that I like. You can adjust the dmg output and attack style of existing weapons or suggest new ones to make combat more interesting, but stay within the starmath that's established - and works very well - already.
Also 5 is such a nice number. There's six total star levels (0,1,2,3,4,5) and it really works well.
