charge attack?? I know one thing that the guns' charge usually does double or triple the original amount of damage to the monsters. But what about a battlepod?? Does it do quadra or penta damage to it due to its size??(lol reference :P)

pls help me!!!

Thx in advance!

Magnus/Tundrus 's charge

Magnus/Tundrus 's charge attack pushes enemies back in the direction their back is and deals around 2.5x normal attack damage for every some time they are being hit by it.
Large immobile enemies(or knockback immune one's) means that even though magnus/winter grave doesn't push them back, they will still be hit multiple times because the bullet deals damage several times as it passes through them.

I believe that it does pierce through battlepods, and just absolutely destroy them. It has however, been a while since I've done this, so if I'm wrong tell me. XD

I did a mission with a battlepod at the end and happened to have the Iron Slug on at the time...yes, it wrecks them pretty decisively.

Try searching Google for something like iron slug winter grave site:forums.spiralknights.com. You will find various comparisons.

My short answer is that Winter Grave's freeze sometimes stops the knockback, reducing the damage dealt by the charge attack. I might prefer Iron Slug over Winter Grave, even against shadow-vulnerable enemies.

I'm fairly sure that they're exactly equal in terms of effectiveness, against battlepods at least.

Since Iron Slug is Normal and

Since Iron Slug is Normal and Winter Grave is Shadow, they both hit battlepods neutrally. Battlepods are immune to stun and freeze, so the secondary effect from both weapons is irrelevant. The Wiki states that Battlepods don't have standard Construct resistances/weaknesses...I've never really bothered to check that. Assuming it is true, then any of the three Magnus-style guns would do equally well. Otherwise avoid the Callahan.

Actually Battlepods take neutral damage from ALL sources, I have even taken a Blitz needle to kill one. They do take extra damage from construct UV's though.
