One thing that creeps me out is unnatural monsters, I can deal with your typical aliens, demons, dragons, etc. It's the monsters you don't know about, the ones that make you question your allies, the first horror movie that actually game me chills was John Carpenter's "The Thing" (look it up at your own peril).

I've always been a not-so-huge fan of SCP-096. That thing is freaky.
