Yeah it's known
I found an ironmight plate helm not too long ago. That regal node slime wall was also an item drop, hence why people were freaking out about it in the past.

Well...
Its a small chance i would say, but they do drop yeah. I saw once a friend of mine getting i believe the lowest star slime shield from a box once.
