Suppose you are going to engage in a 1v1, no AT, duel against a player who is a formidable opponent.
In each fight, you are offered two sets of loadouts from a pool. You will get one of them and your opponent will get the other.
You can assume the opponent is equally skilled with all the loadouts.

***All gear is fully leveled, and no UVs or trinkets unless specified. You can pick any shield class you want***

Match 4. Reason : Most of the

Match 4.
Reason : Most of the other options aren't even PvP orientated or they don't really fit into the 1v1 scene. G contains a BTB w/ ASI VH, great weapon and very reliable. Having that alone makes it a good loadouts regardless of the other weapons in it. Loadout H also has pretty good weapons and has armour in it which can tank quite a bit. Wouldn't mind to have either myself hence I choose it.

I think you misinterpreted me, Tempas. You have to pick one of the loadouts for each match.

For example, in Match 1, would you rather use A to fight someone with B or would you rather use B to fight someone with A.

Match 1: A or B -> A, because of wasted UVs in B, Pulsar line in B, no reliable sword in B, msi and damage max in A, All damahe types covered in A.

Match 2: C or D -> D, because none has trinkets, I won't be wanting to take any damage at all or go guardian. I'm not a fan of neither AT nor pulsar line. So going guns only will work, especially with the help from magma/wildfire/pola/storm immunities.

Match 3: E or F -> F, because E has wasted elemental def and CTR bonus unless you go striker. F has powerful swords and maxed out stats to cover up the low tier def.

Match 4: G or H -> H, because the gear combo needs no UVs but ASI on heavy swords, which it has. You'd think people would chose piercing def but it's not even enough to take one extra max dmg FF. G also has a pulsar line which I find vendorable.

Match 5: I or J -> I, I had a tough time choosing at first, then I saw J has no trinkets. I's trinkets make up for it's only yet huge flaw. Also J screams out Voltedge charging noob as the only successful tactic in most cases.

Match 1: B/ Because you could

Match 1: B/ Because you could just recon it and with damage max and with GF it would kill the opponent in like 2 hits.
Match 2: C/ Taking into account that I sometimes play without trinks, I will state that with that sword damage it would take one Acheron hit to kill the trinkless opponent.
Match 3: F/ I am a terrible bomber so choice E would not work for me at all, plus using one slow gun as your main damage output would be a long process. The fact that the Kat gear has stun max makes the stagger storms status pointless. You only need status resistance high to be neutral to mist bombs.
Match 4: G/ With a barbarous thorn that has ASI vh you could murder an opponent with no piercing defense. Plus the fact that you have a way faster sword gives you the total advantage while circling.
Match 5: J/ Imagine, use guardian with this set and you could charge the life out of the opponent. Nothing else to say.
Match 6: A/ I love the OP damage...
Match 7: B/ The wildfire would keep the opponent far away and since he or she doesn't have swords you can get up close and "Share the Love" as some say.
Match 8: H/ Couple this with recon or guardian and no one can do anything to 'Ya'.
Match 9: J/ I have to say this was the hardest decision of them all. Even though I love double heavy swords + damage, all choice J's weapons would tear through a pure shadow, 3-star gear set.

A lot of these aren't even close..

match 1 : Loadout A. You get the three easiest weapons in lockdown. GF is just unbalanced and the FF and Blaster is very forgiving if you happen to make a mistake. + All damage types.

match 2 : Loadout D. Even with the wasted UV's and useless armor, the guns are a lot more solid than just an acheron. And it'll also only take 2 ~ 3 shots of the umbra/blaster to kill anyway. Coz trinkless.

Match 3 : I'd rather just forfeit than have to fight with some guy that has the nerve to bomb in a 1v1

Match 4 : Choice H. Valiance and DA. It's just coz the other loadout has a permafrost.

Match 5 : Loadout I. Double pentas with almost solid weapons.

Match 6 : A's the best/easiest loadout out of the whole pool..

Math 7 : Loadout B. Double penta's and double switch the storm driver, if they get to close, just use the glacius. Wildfire prolly isnt that useful unless you wanna play mind games.

Match 8 : Refer to response 3

Match 9 : F. Even though you've got two of the same weapons, you've got double penta's.
