Derp. I understand that Tier 3 enemies sometimes appear in Tier 2 danger rooms.. but for EVERYTHING to be Tier 3? give this noob a break D:

I took this screenshot when there were only 2 gremlins are around, but before there were plenty of bombers, healers, wolvers and those gremlins.

Pretty sure your average 2* - 3* player wont be ready for healers who make their own healing barriers and healing fields, wolvers that disappear and pop out somewhere else, gremlins with shields and bombers that move like their on drugs =/

i dont really consider t3 monsters appearing in t2 as a nice suprise. i think of it as a "o great -_-" and i dont really think its a good feature to be in this game =/ don't others agree?

. . . . . . . . .

The hell were you doing in the last part of T2 in Proto gear doing a DANGER ROOM?

Besides, Any 2*-3* player with an ounce of common sense wouldn't try and solo a lower-t2 DR.

Second half of a Tier spawns

Second half of a Tier spawns the next Tier version of the monster if you're in a Danger Room.

You're on Depth 15, which is on the second half (Past Terminal), so you get Tier 3 instead of Tier 2. The point of the Danger Room in general is to have you facing stronger than normal (Stronger than the Depth you're on) monsters. If you accept this challenge and succeed, you're rewarded.

Nothing is wrong with the Danger Room the way it is other than the fact that there's currently not much variety until next update. They're meant to be more challenging than what you'd normally see in that area, and they're 100% optional, so 100% fair.

---

Edit: You would have stood more of a chance if you were -actually- in Tier 2 equipment (2~3*). Taking another look: You're in starter equipment, no Vitapod, and the Danger Indicator on your mini-map is a large purple dot, meaning, ''You might be traveling too deep'', AKA ''GET THE HELL OUTTA HERE, YOU DON'T WANT NO PART OF THIS!''

@strega

That's not a flaw in how the Danger Room works, that's a flaw in how that particular monster works.

I disagree. It's a danger

I disagree. It's a danger room. It wouldn't be a danger room if it wasn't dangerous, for one. Secondly, as said above, you're also in starter gear in the wrong part of the neighborhood. Third, you're playing solo, so you can't legitimately say whether the room is too hard or not because it's technically not balanced towards solo play beyond health scaling. And lastly, you said you knew the risks beforehand.

Quicksilvers are kinda fine

Quicksilvers are kinda fine if there's terrain or other monsters that you can use as cover. The third wave of the quicksilver danger room feels a lot fairer than the other spawns because the other jelly varieties that spawn in it can be used for this reason. The other three waves are b*******.

I think it depends on your gear

I think the monsters spawned in danger rooms depend on the makeup of the party and what is the max gear each party member has. I frequently get tier 2 enemies at depth 2 danger rooms, but it makes sense because I have access to tier 2 and have some 2* equipment in my arsenal.

Before I got 2* equip I would do danger rooms but I never got tier 2 enemies in them.

@ ElementLord Chances are they were doing a low-level run of the clockworks. I hope to be that skillful one day. (=

@zanoni

Um no. They're at D15, in proto gear, no vitapod, no [heavens to Betsy] WEAPON. That's not being "skillful", that's being COMPLETELY AND UTTERLY IDIOTIC!

You left the chat log

You left the chat log visible. You were in a group (obviously invited into Tier 2 as you still have the "Head north to the arcade" objective) they were doing all the fighting as you'd be farrrr too squishy to get near anything in Tier 2 with proto gear. Entered Danger Room and you died hard. You told Valentine to kick dusk (aka, you), then Watermelon told val to kick dusk also. And then you took a photo of you in a tier 2 DR with tier 3 enemies.

I must ask though... how exactly did you get it to where you didn't have a weapon equipped? The game never lets me un-equip my last weapon.

Lol XD

I agree about the weapon, but the init armor... somehow I think it's possible if you go though the right gates and get incredibly lucky. You probably need a decent weapon otherwise healers will out-heal you. Of course I haven't reached T3 yet, so I'm not sure if it's possible to get though T3 in low-level armor...

The game never lets me

The game never lets me un-equip my last weapon.

Incorrect. You can un-equip everything except your armor.
