Hi all,
I haven't played this game for around 3-4 years now and I was curious about spiral knights and to my surprise, all my gear from way back is still here. I remember the days of soloing pretty much every boss available and etc.
What I am curious about though is if anything is worth/still strong nowadays? I still have my Divine Avenger/Fire Fang/etc/Crest of Almire/ High Charge Rate Leviathan and etc.
Please let me know, I'm going through the lazy way :P!
It might be good gear but since you can buy most things for 3.5k CE from the supply depot but it costs 4k CE to unbind, gear without UVs is seldom worth anything. Your Levi might be worth a decent amount if you're trying to sell, though!
Missinglink, I can't tell from your post whether you are trying to sell your items or play the game again. If it's the former, then there's not much point (as previous posters have said). If it's the latter, then yes, the game is still very fun. Just plow through the rank missions to practice your skill again and get an idea of the plot. Do the danger missions, Operation: Crimson Hammer, etc. Enjoy.
Divine avenger is still powerful you just have to keep your back off the walls when you use the charge now.
Fang of Vog is great if you have the HP to risk on the charge attack but most players prefer the Combuster since it swings as fast as the Leviathan Blade, has a safer to use charge, and deals more damage per hits. But I still like the Fang of Vog since it gets fire chance on every hit (Combuster only gets it on the charge) and is great for quickly taking out Deadnaughts and Lumbers.
The Crest of Almire is still a useful shield, most players use the Swiftstrike for that ASI boost it gives but when you need to tank damage the Crest is great.
A Leviathan Blade with a CTR UV is very useful and makes a good weapon for any mission.
UV less gear isnt worth much. always depends on the uvs :D And theyre still strong,yes.
