I have no idea what will happen, but here we go.

Remember that one mission where some SK were using minerals to attract slimes? Well, what if YOU could attract them?

In my PLOT TWIST I posted less than half an hour ago, the moons would have different types of slimes and minerals.

Any minerals or slimes you do not hear are probably the moon ones.

Minerals (moon or Cradle) Slimes (moon or Cradle)

Snowstone Ice cube

Starinite* Dark slimes and Oilers

Valestone Toxigel, Jelly Mini

Crimsonite Blast Cube

Magic Rock Rock Cube

Luminite Lichen

*play on words, Starry Night
These are not all the minerals and slimes that can be added, you can surely add more (OOO, just put it into the game, other players, comment below).

So the slimes would have different status affects dependent of the type of slime. As you may have noticed with the already coded ones, The slimes are attracted to the mineral of their color. The cute little monsters will befriend you like a battle sprite and not leave your side. You can accumulate tons of slimes, but it will take lots of minerals in your arsenal. These guys will help you like sprites, but instead of skills, it attacks randomly. You can upgrade the slimes to attack more often and with more power. In the high levels, the slimes can be used to upgrade YOUR stats, like health, attack, def. resistance, shield and speed.

Feel free to add or remove anything from this suggestion that you feel is appropriate. I thank you for taking the time to read this and I hope that this will be added in a future update.

...?

To what purpose does this serve?

For upgrading our own stats, we already have Battle Sprites, and things like Armor and Trinkets.

For attacking, we have these things called "weapons". If that's not enough, there are these things called "Friends" who will attack things for you, for free.

If you happen to have neither of these, you can use Mecha Knights, Recon Rangers, and Auto Turrets.

i say

I think unless OOO is gonna make some kind of profit, this idea will be going through the a pretty hard selection process.

But it's a little interesting, but i would rather the monsters stay enemies unless there is some lore drive. Content to give them a neutral role. Cause i feel sense we already have so many help when it comes to battle like the pets, knights npc from haven, robotic knights, stationary turrets, battle pick ups, and so on. i would rather the minerals boost and multiply the monsters that resonate with it in that particular field and makes them more dangerous with new attacks. And once we pick up these minerals, the boost will disappear so that way breaking and picking up a mineral will actually co..ect and correspond to the levels were running and connect to the monsters were fighting. So far the game only has lore connection when it comes to monsters and minerals and that is something i seriously hate when there is only lore connection on a game and that actual coded connection is not there at all. Anyway this is my spin on your idea because i don't feel we need more helpers, rather more challenges is what we need.

Maybe both?

If we could have BOTH of these ideas, where minerals attract enemies for friends and monsters, then that would be quite interesting!

First, my side is the adorableness. Look at that little slime.
Two, one of the missions actually includes a part where a large cluster of DM is used to make a purple slime friendly. Anytime in the lab following the completion of this mission includes a slime following you around. It'd be fun to get that guy on the battlefield.

Where the minerals attract monsters and make them more powerful, this could include an opposite effect on slimes. Slimes will only follow you if you have the minerals IN YOUR ARSENAL and you find a slime of that color mineral. This can fit tons of slimes, as my PLOT TWIST thread mentions the moon of Cradle. The minerals could give monsters the ability to give you status effects, and it gives your slimes super powers.

Therefore, we make something harder, but we make something easier.

Also, there are problems to the other things that help you out.

Battle sprites (at least the drakon, what I picked) have hard to aim skills and are hard to level up for better skills.
Also, sometimes the weapons are cursed or it does damage that the enemy is resistant to. The slimes could have different types depending on the mineral.
Friends usually are offline or busy with their own missions.
Turrets, mecha knights, those demo pickups, etc, are hard to find and usually saved for its rarity.

Also, sometimes the weapons are cursed

"Sometimes?" When was the last time a weapon you needed was cursed?
When was the last time a weapon you needed was cursed, by no fault of your own?
If all your weapons are cursed "sometimes", you need to start shielding against Phantom attacks/Stop spamming GF when you don't have any curse resist or 3rd weapon slots

or it does damage that the enemy is resistant to.

There's an arsenal station on every single floor, you have no excuse to bring weapons the enemy is resistant to. Even if you did bring the wrong weapons, it's hardly courteous to just be a drag on your team by not contributing with any attacks, just letting your slime do all the work.

Friends usually are offline or busy with their own missions.

Then find new friends. What's the point of having people on your friends list if they're always offline?

Turrets, mecha knights, those demo pickups, etc, are hard to find and usually saved for its rarity.

Did you ever consider why this is the case? Perhaps it's for that mystical thing called "game balance".

Oh really?

You said that there is an arsenal station on every floor. Does that mean that you have the weapons that the enemy is weak to? No! I don't have a single piercing OR elemental weapon that will not fail me because it is so slow or does little damage unless you charge it (I'm a sword-gun guy, I don't use bombs).

Pickups are still saved, regardless of game balance. This way, you get your own weapons (which is not always optimal, depending on the damage type), or your battle sprite, where people usually use their skill then forget about it because of its incredibly long cool down.

Curses may be rare, but even if you're not cursed, you can be in a lot of trouble, even with friends. I remember multiple times that our party ran out of sparks and failed. Don't say," Get sparks, then," because both of us know that those require energy, and you only get that through paid money or crowns. Those crowns don't grow off of trees! It's like 8.9k cr for 100 energy, and it's been rising!

Also, you don't want people to see you as that person who just goes around befriending everyone. It's awkward to just get a random friend request from someone you haven't spoken to at all. Most of the time even the NEW friends are not on often.

what.

That sounds like a personal fault. If you don't have a wide or varied arsenal, that's on you.

And for minerals of sorts...? Yeah, probably not a great idea. There are plenty of players who have even more minerals than I, so let's say no to those attracting a combat ally.

I remember multiple times that our party ran out of sparks and failed. Don't say," Get sparks, then," because both of us know that those require energy
Then play on lower difficulties so you don't die as easily. You'll still make crowns that way. Don't go places you can't handle without sufficient backup. The more often you play levels without dying, the more sparks of life you'll be earning as when you don't die, you don't lose sparks... And you find sparks in boxes. It's a vicious cycle that can go many ways, but it should start at the "don't die" part. If you die a lot, the answer isn't to keep going forwards... It's to stop and ponder why.

It's not hard to make friends. Talk to people in Haven, join public arcade lobbies. Unless you radiate hostility, you'll have people to play with. Adding random people is weird, but making conversations with people? Not so weird. Heck, just shout "Need someone to run arcade with!" and you'll get plenty of players willing to help, as long as you're in a populated area.

This suggestion seems to mostly be a personal problem on levels more than one to enhance the game.

well..

I feelhaving an accessory monster jelly that goes around and picks up the items that falls from monsters you kill is cool. This jelly would be able to float on a cotton candy cloud just so that it does not get stuck on anything and be able to walk through walls like the fantom. It does not pick up items behind energy walls by the ways for those thinking exploit + free extra money. Anyway, that is as far as i can go to having that little blue jelly friend that follows you around in the lab.

On a seperate subject suggestion. Why not make make the lab open to all who enter like the instance in the advance training hall of haven. Seems kind of a waste for it to be instanced.
