Because come on, who doesn't like hammers? Well, maybe not nails. But still.

Basically, think of these guys as an "inverted troika." The first attack of the combo is
an overhead smash which does very heavy damage (about 1.5x the damage of a troika
in the same line) but only hits directly in front of the player. Basically, instead of dealing
decent damage to several enemies at once, these babies deal massive damage to more
or less one target at a time.

The second attack of the combo is a forward thrust which is more or less the same but has slightly
extended range and actually deals most of the knockback (the first blow does little.)

The charge attack is essentially just the troika's normal combo executed rapidly, and does about the
same amount of damage as the troika's charge.

I imagine there being a Stun variant which looks something like a typical medieval warhammer, along with
a Shock variant which looks sort of like Mjlnoir. The Stun hammer could deal pure normal damage, while
the Shock hammer deals split normal and elemental damage.

hmmm..

Well heavier slower more damaging troika for the win. I can't say thi weapon will be perfectly balanced, but hey not all the weapons in the game is. I would love to see a tremor effect when the charge atatck is unleashed where all enemies that do not fly loose their footing and gets a momentary stun that last half a second in a bomb area range. Enemies that fly are like the silkwing, greavers, and some other devilites.
