I think it's about time for a vote kick option.

I just sat in a game for more than 10 minutes at a pressure plate while the party leader went AFK unannounced. So our only options are either keep waiting or leave the game for Haven and forfeit our Heat. How is that fair? How could a simple option like this be over looked?

You really don't even need a vote kick option. Perhaps a 10 second auto kick timer that starts when a party leader goes into the sleeping animation?

I doubt it's a stretch to

I doubt it's a stretch to just add the same option that you're given at a ''sub-town''; e.g. Moorcraft.

If the whole party isn't on the elevator to go down you'll get an option to go alone, or to invite others in the party to go with you while the other person is left behind.

If they just kept that option for every elevator then there would be no problems. Someone's taking their sweet time on purpose? Take the rest of the party and ditch the jerk.

You can currently go alone

You can currently go alone and invite the rest of the party with you. Press F6, pick Go Solo and invite whomever you want. It also costs 10 energy for those that join you!

The issue isn't that he can't go solo, but that he loses all the heat he's accumulated up to that point. It's not a very attractive option when you're nearly done with the floor either. Also, who would like to pay an extra 10 energy to leave the party...to join another at the exact same floor? Rip-off.

A vote kick is indeed in order. Supported.

OP clearly complained about

OP clearly complained about having to return to Haven which isn't true. Also obviously, no one forces the other people to follow the one who goes solo, they can do the same effing thing. Also, parties have a leader for a reason, there is no place for democracy in parties. Don't like the party? Go Solo.
I cringe at the thought of being kicked by a bunch of random kids from my own party. Too abusable.
