I'm hoping it won't be today, or this month at all for that matter. Because me, and I'm pretty sure a lot of other players, have finals this month that most of us really have to work hard for. I'm not sure if I'd just be sad for not being able to participate or it would just mess up my grades.
Either way, not the best is it? :/

Eh.
So long as the event lasts 2 weeks I'm sure it would be a reasonable stay. Three Rings hasn't really had the best track record in terms of... Dedicating time towards an event because of certain players.
Seeing how this is the "school's out" season, I wouldn't be surprised if they had the black kat event start up either today or later this month. Hopefully we have it lasting 2 weeks, and hopefully we'll get some adjustments to the non-black kat gear... Or at least the book be purchasable with tokens.

EDIT: The announcement still says that the armors are costumes. From what I recall that was an error on the last announcement as well.

There's really no way of knowing until one of the fabulous employees at Three Rings posts an announcement for it.
But if I absolutely had to place my bet? Probably today, since people have been asking for it and it's that time of the two weeks again. If not then sometime over the summer.
