A while back, I tried running FSC with a couple friends, and all of us went without any weapons. I carried a Gorgomega and equipped my lvl105 Drakon, while one of my friends went with his Maskeraith.
The run went surprisingly well. Firebolts, Hexing Hazes, shield bashes, and vials all work splendidly. You guys should try it sometime.
Actually, you only take damage sometimes from shield bash... and there's absolutely no way to tell if you're going to or not prior to bashing.
I've done weaponless lockdown, not weaponless pve though, I should try that some time
I've done Lockdown in Proto and without any weapons. I went Recon for that. It helped me focus on capping rather than killing.
Yeah I've noticed recon works the best too, guardian shield is useless with no counter attacking ability, and strikers can't get very far if someone intercepts your escape, with recon you can cloak, juke, escape, move on
