When you are Cursed you have a curse mark applied to weapons and pickups you can't use. So you turn to your sprite and other things to protect you.
HOWEVER!
If you perform a shield bash while Cursed you take damage just like if you were trying to use a weapon.
All I would like is for a Curse Icon to show up on the Shield Meter or to have the Shield Bash Disabled while Cursed. This would still make it so players are cautious about actions while Cursed but they won't take surprise damage.
Your completely right. This would clarify and point to the player that shield bash is under the curse effect and that they will receive damage if they attempt to peefornm that action. Having no icon makes it unfair to get damage by an action you did not know was under the curse effect and should be considered a visual bug/error in the system.
I agree, once i brought my faust to jelly palace, i shield bashed while i was still under a self curse, and i surprisingly took damage, i want this removed or have an icon to warn you shield bash is unsafe to use while cursed
When we are cursed isnt it obvious that any of our equipment which deals with damage or gives a status will give us damage too.
No, because you can still use some weapons and vials when cursed.
@bone:anything that hurts you from curse should have an icon, it is unfair to take danage from something that does not have an icon on it, if it damages you, it deserves an icon,

Depends what the strength of the curse is.
Having shield bash cursed really causes some problems, especially without an icon. As long as it's marked in some way, the curse itself becomes more fair.
