Since 2011(or 2012?), a company named GameCyber became the exclusive agent in the above mentioned three areas.

When players from these areas attempted to login/create new count on NA game client, they would always see a message pop out and said

"We are no longer accepting new accounts from Hong Kong, Taiwan and Macau. Please go to http://gamecyber.com.hk for more information"

However, GameCyber closed the game, Chinese official site and other related service in 2015/6/7

The Chinese official site was closed, but an announcement about stop running the game service is still left at

http://zh.web.gamecyber.net/gcNewsBlog/?p=12739

And until now, there is still no sign about lifting area restriction at these areas/districts on NA server.

Also, players from these areas are unable to view the webpage of Spiral Knights on Steam.

They can't get any search result about Spiral Knights on steam, even when they directly key in the URL, they'll only see the following message:

"An error was encountered while processing your request:

This item is currently unavailable in your region"

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
So, my question is, is there any possibility for players in Hong Kong, Taiwan and Macau to join Spiral Knights on NA server or through Steam?

wow..

I feel three rings is really pulling an unfair action right there. I think starting a petition and a flood of letters to three rings could be the only way to get this suggestion approved. Even if these players from this region caused the server systems of sk to slow down, it is no reason to exclude them when they want to purchase your product. I would love to sign a petition if you started one Aerogators and if enough people sign it, maybe three rings would see the amount of money they will be losing out on if they were to keep excluding you guys. I really hate financial/excluding issues when it comes to games, but in the end money is an essential thing when creating an online game, and it can't be created without it.
