Does it even need to exist anymore, after missions were implemented quite some time ago?
I loved it so much, though. I don't have to slam my face against slimes or zombies the entire time.

The Arcade has only two uses
The Arcade has only two uses now.
The first: Speedrunning the first part of each tier to find recipes to sell in AH. Or you could let someone else do that dog-work and just buy them off the AH.
The second: starting shadow lairs.
Yeah, that is pretty much it. Arcade is in a coma.
Who cares at this point though. Arcade, like a few other obvious points of neglect (5* winmillion, AT in lockdown, Bombers, etc), has been kicked beneath the dresser permanently. OOO releases cool new stuff (like the new missions, that missile system was pretty boss), but ignores old problems for the most part.

Yes. The Arcade offers crucial parts of the game that you can't get through missions. If you don't know what they are, then go do the Arcade.
