So yesterday I got the DLC and tryed it on my own thought maybe I could do it. After I reached the final boss I was having a hard time just destroying the machines. Thought I was done after doing that. As soon as I saw the machines spawn back after giving the gremlin some hits I just quit. I didn't even bother trying. Took me around half an hour to reach the end. So I was wondering, is it possible to do it on your own depending on your equipment or is it made for parties? If so, if anyone would like to make a run with me, just post a reply on this thread and at what time you are available. If anyone can post any tips they are really appreciated.

Welcome to non-casual games, where you have to earn your victories and aren't given a pat on the back for everything.

I recall doing very well on the whole run in a two-man party when I was a 4 star knight with Vitaluxe + Sunset Stetson, VPS, Cryo Driver and Shadow Driver
I've since rebooted my knight and I haven't given the boss another shot yet. I also no longer a gunner, so that's a thing.

yeah, it's possible to solo. It seemed you were doing well so far, don't worry too much about the machines they'll always come back, just go after the boss if he's on screen.

algorithms are the solutions to any problem.

soloed many times, you just need the right equipment. I did it with a supernova, then added DR after the first time. DBB might also help, but it does piercing, so it's not great for the stages.

multi-wave fight

Aren't all boss fights in this game multiple waves? Even minibosses such as the Big Iron.

Probably you gave up just because it was getting too stressful? Try going back again. Everything is much less intimidating the second time. :)

As others have said, the mission can definitely be solo-ed. I use Acheron and a shadow gun. An elemental weapon would help against the occasional constructs, but shadow is quite adequate.

Yeah.

The game is designed to be a party-game, however it is completely possible to solo.
As a head's up, you only need to kill the center battlepod each wave to bring Seerus down. The other battlepods can heal the center one however, so when you're not overrun try to attack them anyways.

yep

The dungeon as a whole is pretty tough if you're solo, but still manageable if you play right. But the actual fight with Seerus, man... the endless barrage of missiles, taking out the battlepods to bring Seerus down which requires you to get RIGHT in front of the missiles' path if you use swords or bombs, and Seerus himself, getting WAY too crazy with all the Dark Reprisal bombs. It's hard with a team, but completely insane when you're solo. I wasted more Sparks of Life in that boss fight than I have anywhere else in the game. It's clearly built for a team, unless you think you can manage taking on that juggernaut of a boss.

Thanks guys

Thanks for all the tips guys. Managed to beat it alone. Had to make a silent night blade and use 3 sparks of life. Started panicking when he was close to death but I managed.

Agreed, it's one of the two places that I've ever 1kCErev'd, the other being the broken Vanaduke fight.
