Note 1: This mission and its lore take place after the mission King of Ashes but before the "after vanguard" missions.
Note 2: I will state at the start of each section the suggestions i am looking for, please stat which section you are responding to, if you are commenting on it all, please mention that as well.
Note 3: If you want to make a sketch of any of the concepts i describe during this, such as level/haven layout, new gear/enemy/accessory/costume designs that would be much appreciated. I will say what i think they will look like, but i have minimal actual drawing talent, even when it comes to online stuff, me thinking and saying what it looks like is good though.
(Looking for wording changes, or any current conflicts i have with the main lore at this time) Lore/Mission Description: Ever since the knights wandered into Lord Vanaduke cursed kingdom and brought down the terrible lord himself, spirits have been trying to clean the realm. One of these spirits was Lord Brandell, the previous High Chancellor of Almire. Corrupted and turned into a slave for refusing to assist Vanaduke after the curse, he waited until his chance arose, and it has finally come. Using the extensive collection of Almire's great library, he has managed to, after so many days of work, find a spell that can cure Almire, and bring it back to what it once was.
Near this time, Haven was attacked by a hoard of undead, led by numerous Almirian warriors. The Spiral Order has connected this to the citadel, and, after extensive surveillance of the surrounding area, has decided to launch a head on assault. The spookat residents of Moorcroft Manor, knowing just how dangerous it could possibly be for someone unskilled to wield this kind of power, have locked down the Manor until the threat disappears, and are requesting to be the first to access the library after Brandell's defenses have been breached.
Now Lieutenant Feron, met with heavy resistance, has requested the assistance of a squad of knights skilled enough to breach the citadels defenses, defeat the count himself, and allow the spookats to enter the library.
This expansion mission would bring a new event (mostly cosmetic event), a 5 level combat level, 1 reward level expansion mission (which would include several new enemies), several new weapons, and a new promo box.
(Looking for other changes you would make (other then a haven defense mission), to show the results of the previous attack, and how it has been preparing for another attack, as well as other changes for an overall idea. Im going for a more somber or darker tone during this, if that helps.)
Haven theme: During this event, which would last 2-4 weeks, Haven's overall look would have the following changes:
1: A falling ash environment (the FSC environment) would be seen throughout all of Haven.
2: A light layer of ash is seen on the ground, footsteps will be made wherever the knight walks. This layer of ash will also cover some of the buildings (such as the auction house).
4: The fountain is completely filled with ashes, water is not running.
5: Snipes are absent. Several knight corpses are seen on the ground, most likely the ones that are seen walking around, the walking "delivery knights" will also be absent.
6: Several turrets and guardian knights are seen near entrances and on higher up platforms (like the rescue camp after you recover the artifact). Slag Walkers will sometimes spawn around the turrets, they will be killed by the turrets. Weak almirian crusaders (the spear knights in Legion of Almire) can also spawn, they will be killed by guardian knights.
7: Lieutenant Feron is absent from the arcade. (for missions that involve talking to him in the arcade he will appear, but then the level will reload and he will not be there, or it will be a radio transmission such as how Kora communicates with you)
8: Pembrooke (i think that is how you spell his name, either way the informative kat in Moorcroft Manor who tells you about the Archives and the Black Kat theat), will be seen in the town square in front of the fountain with another mewkat near him, several other mewkats will also be seen floating around. Interacting with Pembrooke will lead to the following dialouge:
Pembrooke: (talking to the mewkat next to him) We need a couple kats to head into the arcade and find those nature sprites, hopefully they aren't that busy at the citadel. We also need a shipment of medical goods sent to Feron, as well as a couple healers. What else...
Knightnamehere: Uhm, hello?
Pembrooke: (Realizing knightnamehere is there) Oh, hello, what can I help you with?
Knightnamehere: I'm just wondering if there is any way I can help.
Pembrooke: We are kinda busy right now, if your able to, help Feron in his attack on the citadel, otherwise leave us alone and proceed as normal.
Knightnamehere: Ok, see you later I guess (End Conversation).
(Any changes to cosutmes/accessories/gear items found in the Almirian Prize Box. Estimated drop rates for Almirian Prize Box items)
Promo Box: During this event Almire Furniture Boxes will be available for purchase with real money transactions. Almirian Prize boxes will also be available for purchase with energy in the supply depot for around 1000 energy. They will contain at least 1-5 items from the following list, all items are delivered unbound.
Cursed Costumes (the hallow and frosty costumes, but with a dark purple base color and a light black trim).
Flaming Costumes (hallow and frosty costumes, but with a bright orange base, and a dark red trim).
Full Back Accessory: Smoldering Almirian Cape (The cape on Lord Vanadukes back in knight form)
Full Back Accessory: Cursed Almirian Cape (Vanadukes (Smoldering cape, but light black main color, the almirian logo is dark purple)
Aura: Falling Ash Aura, the falling ash enviornment around the player, a light red glow is seen around the players entire body, small spots of ash are left behind where the player walks (disappears after a couple seconds)
Aura: Hexed Aura, the player's body has a dark purple glow, light purple electricity is given off by the players armor and helmet.
Recipe: Crest of Almire (same as the one found in the arcade)
Recipe: Cursed Crest of Almire, shock defense is replaced with an equal ammount of curse defense, the white symbol is now light black, shield main color is dark purple. Requires Blackened Crest Level 10 to craft, requires same materials as the crest of almire, but the light shards are replaced with dark shards, and the 5 star material is replaced with a shadow steel.
The Expansion Mission: The Siege of Almire is a replayable expansion mission that would function in a similar way to OCH for purchasing and accessing. It would be purchasable with real money and with energy for the same price as OCH, and be accessed from the expansion mission tab. There will be a tier 1, tier 2, and tier 3 version, this will be described later. There will be 5 combat levels, a mission lobby with a special alchemy machine for crafting the craftable reward, a loot/story level at the end, several new enemies, and a new boss fight. The mission will primarily have a undead, curse, and fire theme, but beasts and constructs may be seen as well.
(Im looking to keep the difficulty for the tiers when it comes to status effects and enemies. Any suggestions to help with that would be appropriate.)
Because of the status effects, and the enemies i would like to put in this, the different tiered versions of this mission will be different in the following ways:
TIER 1: Enemies will primarily have a fire theme, with no chance of having a curse theme unless otherwise stated. Gun puppies will primarily replace howlitzers, rocket puppies will primarily replace guardian howlizters, ash tails will replace alpha ash tails, regular wolvers will replace ash tail spawns, burning deadnaughts will spawn instead of Almirian Shadow Guards, Slag Walkers will spawn instead of Caravons. Lost Souls and Fire Souls will not spawn in the boss.
TIER 2: Enemies will still primarily have a fire theme, but have a 50% chance of having their curse themed counterparts. Basically, the above replacements, have a 50% chance of the enemies they replace (For example, Caravons have a 50% chance of spawning instead of Slag Walkers). Lost souls will spawn when stated. Fire souls will be replaced by Lost Souls.
TIER 3: This is the version i will be describing when i describe the levels. Fire souls will replace lost souls. An additional Almirian Soul will be present in the boss fight.
I will say yes as long as all the monsters and the envirement is only in the mission, not all the time
