Where the [cog] is the Aus/Asian server?
About 1/3 of your total players are from the south East Asian/Australian region but your so [rusted] up with your American and European buddies but you forgot about the rest of the world that USED to enjoy your game until it got to jittery and laggy.
OOO I have zero respect for you. At least this would Brighten my mood.
And don't give me your usual "ah our Australian players. The problem is that hardly anyone from Australia play spiral Knights"
You wanna know my opinion!? They once did. Until they couldn't put up with the lag.
I invested over 50$ worth of money into this game. Now I wish I never did.

algorithms are the solutions to any problem.
note: OOO had nothing to do with the asian servers, it was a separate game altogheter (it also recieved updates later. that's... something.) OOO never had an asian server.

He's right there should be an OZ/Asian server. I also experience minor lag sometimes and sometimes I just wanna punch my laptop.

Does it matter?
Well it doesn't really matter if it was an OOO server or not, does it? It was a spiral knights server and it proved that the game isn't popular enough there to maintain a server.

Eh
We really do need an Oceania server, but it's really a choice Three Rings will have to take when they feel it to be the right choice. As of right now, they haven't the time/resources/need to do so.
It's a shame really, but I do agree that if we had an Oceania server we would have more players from that part of the world in the game.
Only problem I can think of would be we might need more multi-lingual game masters to help with potential support problems in more languages. Other than that, it's the cost of keeping and maintaining the server.

To be fair to the past
To be fair to the past Chinese server, if it's not advertised ingame, and not included in the list of region dropdowns, I'm pretty sure it doesn't exist as far as most of the player base is concerned.
I never even knew we had a server close to home.
But yes. I'm Australian and everybody I know doesn't play SK because of lag. It is astonishingly bad here.

I'm amazed you even try to play the game with your latency. Even when I get a little bit of lag the game becomes unplayable.
There used to be an Asian/Chinese server up until about 2 weeks ago (I think it was shut down on the 7th) , problem is no one played on them and running the server cost OOO more money than it was bringing in, hence it was shut down.
So pretty much, no they won't and shouldn't make one because they will lose money, and it's not like they have got an abundance of money coming in with just the 2 servers that there are now.
